I wish all of his moments in the book would have been shown in the movies..I would have liked to have seen him get excited to see Harry again and talk about working at Hogwarts and having to talk Dumbledore down when it came to his pay..And Hermione going nuts about the magical creature's rights and starting the movement..I don't even think we get to see his outfits when he starts dressing himself after he's free. I remember a tea cozie for a hat, a tie, basketball shorts and two different socks, one being the one Harry used to free him and i forget the other one 😅 I think Ron gives him a Xmas sweater as well ❤
It's nice that that films 2 and 7 got Dobby right amount of screentime, but the film series really should have used Dobby in Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince. The TV series needs to make sure that Dobby appears in the seasons based off books 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 because the movies were not aware of the fact that Dobby was a key supporting character in the series until it was too late...
Dobby doesn’t appear much in the film series; the books he’s appeared in was Chambers of Secrets, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half Blood Prince, and Deathly Hallows. The book series showed more of Dobby; since he was cut from the majority of the film series, Neville Longbottom did most of the work in the films instead.
It was a letdown that Dobby was cut from films 4,5 and 6, and it came back to haunt WB because Dobby was a key supporting character. Now the TV series has to make sure Dobby appears not just in Chamber of Secrets and Deathly Hallows, but also in Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix and Half Blood Prince seasons.
I think dobby was the cutest little house elf 🧝 ever and he was so adorable 🥰 and so sweet 🥹 I love 💕 how protective of harry and his friends he was too he was so cute 🥰 I love 💕 seeing him in the movies 🍿 too dobby is the best little elf 🧝 ever he’s my favourite little elf 🧝 too yeah he’s awesome 😎
