Honestly, *Choi Mu Jin* this character was such a complicated character but beautifully written and made, and the actor did so much justice to it honestly, he's broken, guilty, ashamed, protective, caring but not willing to accept any of it. He's bad at expressing, to me, that character is a big relate [obv not supporting what he does or anything] but the urge he has to love, care for someone and the rage he has for getting betrayed but then at the same time, he's miserable and still misses that person. It's hard for him to accept reality and all he wants is his mind's peace and care, not loneliness? Idk if I could put my thoughts into words, but I think his character is a beautifully portrayed 'fictional' character that we all somehow relate to in some way? [*there's a lot of thing we regret, but don't take into consideration and suffer even more by being dishonest about our own feelings?*] I think he wanted Jiwoo to rather take revenge, maybe he could've been in peace then? But, the *betrayal* thing is a strong factor/complication for him?

Some people think its dad-daughter type of love. For some it's something else but honestly let's just appreciate the writer of this who wanted to portray perfect nameless relationship n leave it for people to imagine it thier way. The actors really understood this assignment and executed it very well. At conclusion everyone has thier own opinions and for me this relationship is beyond just 'love and respect for eachother'. Even Idk how I should name this!!. It's just PERFECT 💞

After watching some comments here. I think u all miss a lot about him. The first people arent white or black. Mujin real treat her with love and care, he tried to be her father. And u all seem to forget he was betrayed first, he wants to die in her hands. And that proves at the end he saw her as someone who can kill him. And don't forget he need to kill her bf, since he was the one blocking her from killing him

I think it’s kinda weird to ship them as a couple... first of all, the age difference. Second of all, the fact that he was her dad’s “friend”. When they first met and mujin started helping jiwoo he was taking on a sort of father role and I’m sure they both knew it. I do respect your opinion, but I think it’s kinda strange :)

@@jessielee1803 he’s a dr*g dealer who has hidden whereabouts to train his boxers I.e. killing machines. He killed many people and tortured dozens. The only reason he seemed like a decent guy was because he killed himself in the process. Instead of decent I would use pitiful, he wanted power but what did he have to give in return? Everything and everyone he had. Jiwoo’s father never betrayed him, Jiwoo’s dad stayed loyal to his principles and was never part Choi Mujin’s gang. He broke his trust but he wasn’t a traitor.
He must’ve still loved jiwoo’s dad, and hence took jiwoo under his wing, but that only makes him more cruel. He broke her more, her only guardian had killed her dad. Imagine how Jiwoo would’ve felt, IMO she got betrayed worse than Mujin did

I don't understand why people ship them, they were more like father-daughter kinda thing. They were broken in some ways, they were a family, bc they didn't have anyone else and they were there for each other. They didn't need words, but Jiwoo was looking for him always like for a father that she lost and he looked at her like she was the daughter he never had.
He wanted someone that would never betray him, but didn't see that he betrayed her in the day he said he doesn't know who killed her dad. That relation was a toxic one, but was so sad to watch.

Woooooo! when I was watching this, I can feel the strong emotion through the screen that I got goosebumps no joke there. So, in my opinion, I think these two had this unexplainable relationship to the show; like I had mixed feelings if he is in love with her or it's the guilt he has for killing her father and that's what makes him care for her; At the same time I think it could be both because the emotions he started to show towards her even he seemed a bit cold to her, it's like he is hiding the love he has and just building up quilt and lies. For her she looked at him as someone she only has, the only family left to her heart, and trusted him. I just want to say this drama was too good😊
I just realised how Mujin killed Jiwoo's dad with his own gun and Jiwoo killed Mujin with his own knife he had given her

I feel that the romantic relationship with Mu Jun in the drama was unnecessary, their chemistry was great but was not necessary to go for romantic, I guess it didn’t click for me. And the whole thing of having sex and the partner immediately dying is very cringe for me. Him dying even as a police partner and a friend who wants to help her is still heartbreaking. Maybe I was not in the right space for it…

Why are you watching an edit when you don't ship them? The editor puts a lot of effort to make it. There are so many videos on their ship. Are you guys going to clarify everyone?
I don't think anyone's hating on it. The videos used in the video are the same as the movie... people are just debating the chemistry. Some can only see it as sort of a guardian relationship and others it is more romantic. There is technically no right or wrong...But the writer defenatly did not intend a romantic relationship for the two given the fathers relation to both (It would be weird if she married the guy who killed her father and it would be weird for mujin to marry his friend's daughter) and obviously there is the age gap too.
