If the battery dies while on course there are 2 slots on each axle, move the wheels to the outside slot and it becomes a push cart. No friction forward or backwards.
Ok. I've watched several reviews on the M7. This is by far the best most extensive and informative video without lasting 45 minutes. I like that you show real life situations and are not trying to sell the product. Well done!
Bought the Motocaddy M7 remote for the NGF competition (36 holes matchplay) this year. With an electric trolley you have more energy (and concentration) left during the competition day.😉Don’t pull the trolley back or front without putting the wheels in the freewheel mode because I don’t think that is good for the motor and Motocaddy is awful when it comes to warranty issues. The battery life is great ...more than 36 holes and still battery life left. Love the remote control. Easy to use and great to send the trolley of to the other side of a green while I go putting. When you are on a hill the parking mode doesn’t prevent the trolley from slowly moving downwards. So would advise to park the trolley horizontal or on top. The M7 comes with the all terrain wheels so they where on while testing. Totally agree with the remark about the missing pouch/ net to store things. Used the M7 trolley now for 6 months and love it. Don’t love the Motocaddy service/ the way they handle warranty issues though.
@@NewNineGolf thx. The golfstore fixed the problems (not only ours but also from another golfer at our club) as it should by Dutch (and European) consumer law but at their cost and I heard from the shop that Motocaddy was very difficult giving proper service/ solving issues under warranty. But when it works it is a very good electric trolley. By the way in the Netherlands you could by a pouch for on the steering wheel at trolleyworld. Can store food/ phone etc in it. My wife bought one for on her M1 trolley.
I saw your Stewart Q Follow video. Excellent job on both. I just ordered the Stewart for the Follow Me function. Do you like this over the Motocaddy or not?
Is the handle height adjustable? Also I use the umbrella a lot for sun protection, so probably going to always have my hands on the handle. So steering and speed control is pretty smooth doing it manually it seems?
My M7 remote was my 2nd Motocaddy Well designed and finished and I loved it ❤ However , during mg 4yr ownership used the remote on maybe 2 dozen occasions ! Why ? Because the front swivel wheel assembly is great on smooth , flat , level surfaces . In the real world , hit a small undulating and the trolley veers off at 90 degrees . Do NOT waste your money !
I believe you want the one that says "ultra" battery because there is a "standard" battery. I would confirm 100 percent with the seller because I see 2 variations.
Wonder why they didn’t incorporate a lock for the top of the bag that simply clicks into the top holder 🤷♂️ And a mini electric coolbox for a couple of bottles of beer. I mean water.
I'm torn between this and the Axglo follow me from Canada... the Axglo has more powerful motors, is longer in length and guarantees it can go up a 40 degree slope, it doesn't have a third set of wheels.. it also has same two year warranty. Anyone have any recommendations? It's unfortunate I cannot actually see them in person...
I have not come across the Axglo follow. Reminds me of the foresight Smart Caddy. I'm hoping to review that soon. I did a review on the Stewart golf Q follow. Great unit. Check out my review. ua-cam.com/video/lpINKi3OJxo/v-deo.html 🍻
No rules against that at the private clubs I play at. I mean, that's one of the benefits of having a trolley. I’d never drive it over a green, but nothing wrong with a tee box.
Whilst I love this trolley, the price point puts it at the premium level and what none of the reivewers have mentioned is that the remote control is 22 years in the past as it uses mini usb and I cant think of any hardware I purchased in the last 10 years that used mini usb! poor show from motocaddy there and who knows what the logical thought process was on that one, any cost saving between implementing USB-C or Micro-USB would be pennies, not £££. Even if this is an overstock on the S7 remote which would have been released about 12 months before USB-C was a thing, you'd expect a micro usb port. Thankfully, they did a near perfect job of the trolley itself, my only minor gripe with the trolley is the fact that when you want to turn it, it almost comes to a standstill. Sure I appreciate you cannot expect the trolley to turn at speed 9 and stay upright but definitely feels like they took it too far

Shopping for an ecart to replace my Carttek. Been checking reviews and the customer support for Motocaddy is pretty much non-existent. Too scary to spend nearly 2g's for it. Too bad because this was a great review and cart looks very functional.
@@NewNineGolf thank you. the first amazon review is of someone who's cart arrived with issues and couldn't get through to any support. Like a lot of places, the sales support will be fantastic. When you need help, could be another story.
Great video, I bought one and then got the All In 1 accessory by Stadium Golf for it.
Yeah I've got that accessory too, it's the best thing I have bought, makes playing a lot easier
Yeah same, it’s a great addition

@@NewNineGolf So, if money is issue, M7 or Qfollow in your opinion? Or is there another you prefer?
Money "no" issue
Q follow is truly amazing! I just love that follow feature and it’s smaller when folded.
@@NewNineGolf just watched your review on the Q. Looks very nice. Again, well done review.

Man that thing took the incline like a champ! It looked steep!
It worked really well!
You can also charge the remote from the USB port if it runs out.
Good review, I’d like the M7 but at £1100 it’s pricy! Bag looks nice and practical as I have a cart and carry bag, fed up of having 2 bags!
Is the handle height adjustable? Also I use the umbrella a lot for sun protection, so probably going to always have my hands on the handle. So steering and speed control is pretty smooth doing it manually it seems?
Have you tried fitting your Vessel DXR stand bag onto this yet?

Any answer re: the noise while running the M7 on cart paths. I also experienced this issue.
I just try to keep it on green if possible. Haha.
I just received mine this week and after the first attempt to charge the controller it broke off and stayed inside it!
Is the M7 Ultra Lithium battery (mentioned on their website) the same battery as the Next generation, High Power 28.8V system mentioned on Amazon?
I believe you want the one that says "ultra" battery because there is a "standard" battery. I would confirm 100 percent with the seller because I see 2 variations.
Which one would you prefer? MGI or M7?
Great Question. I would use both quote honestly. The M7 is just slightly better in my opinion. Making a head to head video soon
Are we comparing MGI Navigator All Terrain or the regular MGI Navigator?
Is there a spot for a sand bucket ?
No, you’d need an aftermarket accessory
What kind of shoes are those?
Jordan ST Trainer
If Marney isn’t the issue, which do you believe is better stewart Qfollow or moto caddy m7 ?
Q follow
@@NewNineGolf thanks

Is the only way to "turn off" the speed dial on the cart - by pulling out the power cord?
I'm not sure you can. You don't want a speed on your cart?
@@NewNineGolf Hi. That's not what I meant. When you are done with the round - do you disconnect the plug from the battery into the cart?
Yes I take the battery out to charge it.

Who is supplying devices with USB mini in 2022/2023? That’s just so disappointing.
Ewww I thought we went away from using that charging port on the remote :| lets get a USBC on that thing
