why don't you just replace the swimspeed with 1 and walk speed with 2 ? same relation as 3 to 6 and the total time needed is not part of the question. the point x should remain the same no matter what speed we assume as long as the ratio stays the same. or even better. swim speed = 1/2 and walking = 1
