Im excited for new content and new ideas, I plan to play in a lot more tournaments including multiple day events. GoodGood Golf is in the process of a lot of new and exciting things. Me and Garrett (GMGOLF) are talking about how we are going to resume the Sunday Matches in 2022. Videos with Rick Shiels, Peter Finch and Bryson DeChambeau are collabs I want to do. Lets Make 2022 the best year yet
This is the best I remember seeing Garrett hit driver. Not knowing how fast the greens were to start with resulted in some tough leaves. Love these matches.

You can tell that the swing change is affecting Tigs game, hopefully it pans out for the future.
Man harsh comments here for Tig. Don't sweat it man. Small changes usually mess things up for a bit.
I shot 2 under par the other day and am about to completely deconstruct my swing because I use my arms and release early. I am expecting to say goodbye to good scores for a long time knowing it is for the better.

Tig's a great golfer, but he's really going to have work on his composure if he's going to have any success at the next level.
He is a good amateur. As far as competing on the next level he has a longggg way to go.
I’m not sure how this will be received but I was watching the Solheim Cup this morning and I couldn’t help but notice the uncanny resemblance between Tig and Mel Reid...both in looks and in golf game! Uncanny

So, would it be possible to get a playlist for the second season of matches? I love having the matches on while I work.. and it would be awesome to have them play one after the other. Not sure if that is possible with the videos being on different channels.

Garrett's driver is really working both ways ,but he always gives away a hole or two. Tig has got to tighten up his game ,shooting 41 on the front side isnt going to get anybody to any tour. Got a long, long way to go. Actually Garrett is playing much better than any of the guys. But all the guys look really sharp in their new gear.
I question mega swing changes to an already great swing.
@@pigs6486 his swing doesn't hold up to consistent pressure. If he wants to make it on tour, you can't be making bogeys 75 yards out. He needs to fix his short game particularly, basically he needs Garretts short game.

I’d love to see Tig work on celebrating how others play well over how he’s playing horrible. It’s likely unintentional, but he makes it sound more like he loses matches for himself over another golfer just playing well and winning the match. Not just this round, several others as well.
Yeah it's a really bad look - it's like genuinely unenjoyable to watch someone being so salty and miserable. Imagine how Garrett feels, must be like playing with a stranger sometimes!! Micah, lighten up and enjoy yourself and encourage your friends more when they're playing well - it'll make you play better too!
You are completely right...i am although like this...a killjoy on a bad day. Thin line between caring for the game and just beeing miserable...
He shot a bad round, he can critique himself on that. He plays with Garrett enough that he doesn’t have to tell him how good he’s shooting.
@@Kongguderod definitely, we all have things we need to work on. Just think golf would be much more enjoyable experience for him if he’d give himself some grace.
@@gigiknappe6057 I don’t disagree with you, but it’s not just with Garrett. Sometimes it’s hard to watch videos with Tig because he’s taking it so seriously and constantly talking about how bad his shots were. He’s a great golfer and seems like a great person. Just hope he can cut himself a little slack.
Being in the DFW area, you guys should definitely make the short trip down to Glen Rose and check out Squaw Valley. There are two 18 hole championship courses there, and they're both top municipal courses year in and year out. Solid courses for sure!
G-Rat was cooking with driver in hand -- that's about as consistent as ive ever seen him hit it. The grip change seems to be a revelation -- at least for this match lol

I think this match is before Micah started changing his swing. It just seems like he is getting stuck not rotating and flipping his hands trying to save it.
Y’all may consider wearing mics on your shirt for better audio on windy days. Not sure it will help but who knows
Got a wedge on ebay that came with those jumbo thick grips. I was going to remove it and put on a normal grip because the club was a great price but now Puting thicker grips on all my clubs for sure

I recently changed my swing after a lesson, and I am hitting 50 or so percent of my drives (previously nearly 100% slice). I am gradually eliminating my slice, so I am hopeful that playing time will increase my percentage. This is a crazy game!

Golf is golf.. Some days are good some aren't so good. Garrett had some good holes Tig not so much. Like the grip change for Garrett and I like how Tig wants to move to the next level. Everyday is a new day.

A lot of times when greens have been aerated each green will get rolled 3 times to help bring it back to a smooth surface and close the holes, I'm guna bet that's why they are so fast.
I was unable to find this until it was released for over 30 minutes

Garrett, with the new grips all your faceangles are slightly open - yes it helps your driver, but everyone of your irons were open, and right! Go back to thinner grips on irons, or make an adjustment!
What ever happen to the Golf Cart Bikes you guys use to use? Haven’t seen them in a while. How much if you want to sell one.

@ender if you check these comments, just find a scratch golfer to play with as much as possible and you’ll improve much faster than you would otherwise. Learn by watching how they play/ make decisions and try to mirror that in every way.
Can y’all play a full 18 soon. Just show highlights of every hole and only show like 5-6 holes. Put it on good good and do it like a tournament if y’all have too.
I think Micah’s issue is he tries to force a high sweeping draw instead of playing a natural draw. Tries to hit slingers into every green.

His 8 iron has the loft of a 6 . Most of today's clubs are geared down ,plus he closes the face down even more hitting that hook.

Great match guys! Tig I love your dedication to pursue a pro career in golf. I honestly wish I had the talent that you guys have. With that said, you really need to work on the mental side of the game as well. I see you flustered after a bad shot and from the videos it seems as if you rush into your next shot just hoping to get lucky. All the best golfers thrive under adversity and if you wanna get to the next level, then you have to be comfortable with those not so comfortable shots. Love the channel and all the best!
