Around this time he was definitely struggling with drugs, he was slipping away. So glad he clean & sober....hope he stays that way.

Some people go through rough pots in their lives & don't really get past them.
This guy was born into a bad situation. So, odd to say but his chosen career was a blessing and a curse. Hollywood likes to drive the innocence & sobriety out of people.
    Edward showed us
he's one tough guy. ❤❤ He is
12 years clean & reconnecting with old friends.

Wow! He's so humble honest and sincere. He's not afraid to say what he feels. He literally strong enough to say that he's not getting any roles he would be really interested in.
well I'm sure there's some times with his background a probably see his life and they sometimes don't choose actress because of their lifestyle. It was kind of that way from that guy from iron Man but then he cleaned up and look at him and he's amazing. Maybe now that he's cleaned up he's going to be more amazing.
in this interview he says he hopes that he would inspire somebody with his films and that hopefully in his own words he said he would make a difference.
Don't worry Edward we thought you are awesome and we still think you are. 💖🥰🦃

People in the comments are saying that the drugs took a role on his physical appearance here and I disagree. Even in Terminator he had the dark circles under his eyes. I think this comes from having odd sleeping patterns. Maybe some days he sleeps too much and other days struggles to sleep. Anyway, I just adore him.

    • @jillconner5062

That's a good point. I have the permanently around my eyes now. From years of erratic sleep patterns. But my skin is darker then his. And I have brown eyes. So it's quite as noticeable as his. I'm also in my 40s.

I am happy he cleaned up his act and sobered up and is slowly getting back.
And T2 is awesome and his break out role. And it's truly my favorite movie ever. And I agree that bigger movies started to suck after the mid 90s! And these days they are a true shit show! And I love arthouse and indie movies and my love for the has become bigger because of the tentpole blockbuster crap.
Eddy's smaller films are the ones he really came into his own as an actor and we saw a very versatile actor, From deep, dramatic painful roles, to awesome comedy.
A Home of Our Own, Brainscan (a wickedly brilliant sci-fi horror), Little Odessa, Pecker oh man, so many great little small and indie movies he worked on.

Wow what you said about how hard it is in between jobs to see if you're going to have another job as an actor. . I can see why it's a lot of stress for actors.of course they make millions in between them they can take care of themselves but that must be hard if you don't have enough interest in your in caught in between like that.

Apparently for t3, they wanted him back but he od'd so thats why we have stahl instead. Stahl's a good actor, about 1-2yrs younger than furlong and also a child actor. Too bad

@ Penda Fen. I agree Nick Stahl is a good actor. He just didn't do it for me as Jon Connor though. But that movie was gonna suck regardless I think? I wasn't buying Stahl as a skinny bird chested bully. In the movie Bully either. Brad Renfro was a really good actor too. RIP.

He still looked great yet went out of his way to messed up his chance to return as John Connor in T3. But it's ok. The movie is not even good. If they brought in another director if even if it wasn't James Cameron, then this movie could've been a bit better.
