I cannot express how I miss the harmony between warmness of people, order of society and wonderfully evolved geological environment of this city. Beautiful, beautiful with her best.
I went there with my brother while backpacking scandinavia. We stayed at the Citysleep Hostel. It was the most memorable town we visited in all of sweden. I loved it. :)
I was born in the States but my family is from Luleå. Have been there a number of times-winter, summer and autumn-and was even married in the 15th century Nederluleå church that’s in the video. I highly recommend a visit! It’s very special and the perfect place from which to explore Sweden’s arctic region.
A wonderful place to live! I'm originally from Scotland and love the natural surroundings here mainly because of the great summers and snow-bound winters. The air is pure and it's very easy to get around. Abound with beaches, hundreds of islands, sports-orientated and extremely child friendly. An excellent place for visiting all year round. Small cities like this also mean it's easy to get acquainted with people and make lots of new friends!
Im from a village in Piteå and i go to luleå twice a week and know when i think about it, IT’S AMAAAAZING. I mean on the winter it’s stunning, with all the snow, hockeeey and that.
Great video, made me a little 2nd Home sick. I lived in Sweden for 3 years and luleå for over 12 months, it is a fantastic little city which has everything you need. I love to ski, fish and play golf so it suited me perfectly. The Extreme weather conditions from -36 in the winter (can get colder) to plus 30 in the summer ( if we were lucky ) only made luleå more enjoyable to live in. I'm from Sydney born a raised in Manly, so moving away from the ocean was the most difficult part of moving to Sweden. Replacing waves with mountains was my way of dealing with it being so cold and dark, not to mention seeing the famous northern lights from the back yard of my girlfriends house and going to the Ice Hotel. Luleå is a fantastic city you get out what you put in, if you want it to be fantastic it will.
I love Northern city like Lulea for many reasons like nature, cold and to find remote place. Have you the same services like other big cities like Stockholm?
i live in luleå on tunastigen and my Mother working at scandic hotell :) i had hear that Jamie Oliver has do the kid meny to scandic pr something like that
Mary Jonsson is the city safe because my mom is thinking 2 move 2 sweden and she wants 2 find out is the crime rate calm, average or detroit level of crime
@@getinthevankids9790 nah unfortunately not but it ain't 2 bad in 3yrs I'm moving 2 poland my home country (this is my new account) and I love the country with my heart
I was living in this city for almost 4 years as a graduate student. The people of northern sweden are really kind hearted but at the same time very reserverd and too cold and you can't establish friendship with them easily. the city is very small and boring. living more than 6 months in this city is like a constant torture. don`t recommend it to anyone from a big city background.

My great grandparents are from there. One day I would love to go and see my history there.
Roligt hur allt verkar så mycket bättre i videon än det faktiskt är. Snyggt gjort.
Allt är precis så bra som det verkar.
Lär dig njuta och inte ta allt för givet.
