I'm a student myself and find these disruptions very disrespectful as they impede lectures since us students cannot focus or even hear the professor at times. I support notifying them that if they don't readjust their protest then they get expelled, then actually following through with that. Being there and expressing your opinion is one thing and fine, but the shouting, chanting and flag stuff is not. You can try and bring awareness to your cause in a more calm and peaceful manner.

yes, it happened in the late 1960s, too .. millions dead in Vietnam, and the elites back here in the US were unable to concentrate on studying for finals. here at Ohio State University, they had to shut down the campus completely for the semester, because the protests and the police were so disruptive. up at Kent State classes continued, until one day several people got shot dead. eventually, the US left Vietnam but that was years later. but the protests may have "helped" some -- or maybe not. maybe Americans just got tired of seeing their own kids come back dead, I dunno. or the Pentagon Papers, and how they lied to Congress about the chances of winning the war. The police threw students, pulled them by the hair, knocked over a girl in a wheelchair, and created panic in a crowd. The university is going to have a world of lawsuits on its hands.
