This was very insightful, thank you for this channel. I thought I has postpartum depressing after my second child but Ive just learned it must have been baby blues. I relate so much to steph, I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy, complicated second pregnancy, baby blues and weight gain due to glucose intolence. Carrying life is a lot, I think we just need to celebrate the blessing that is the journey and the young life, and be kind to women. And stop the body shaming, we can see the weight gain no need to point it out in every conversation
😢i never had a support structure and i still dont have im just relying on myself , somedays its hard but i have learned to stay away from toxic people and with me its family shame , even though it too me almost 15 year to do see but i have learned recently that i always have to put myself first 😊❤
I love the "give yourself grace" statement in every day lives we need to afford ourselves grace in our mistakes and failures. Thank you for this conversation
I never thought I would be so strong as a mother the experience i went through in and out of hospital I almost gave up but I told myself to be proud of wat I have and right now we celebrate every little thing my son does.... Here's a quote, a woman is like a tea bag you'll never know how strong she is until you put her in hot water❤
Thank you so much for this conversation, Basadi! I remember how I struggled with accepting where my body was/is with my second child. I was like, "You thought you knew what a fupa is, what is this?!" 😂😂😂😂 Nothing would fit and finding a new wardrobe was such a struggle and I would burst into tears every morning before work. I am glad to be on the other side of that and I am SOOOOO GRATEFUL for how my Partner carried me up until now! 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️ What Stephanie is saying about support structure is so true; who carries you (Mom) when you carry the Baby? 🥺🥺 And on our Parents and Grandparents still telling us "You can't leave the house until the Baby's 3 months" and all the other ways the wanna impose on us, I believe that is and was their way of saying rest is important. Because a new Mom wasn't allowed to cook, do chores, go to crowded places (except health facilities) and that helped with healing. We're doing things differently; setting boundaries and doing what feels right. I think each generation does what they can given how much they know and the circumstances they find themselves in. Love, love, Mommy Diaries, Pasi (my Partner's actually the one who introduced the platform to me.). ❤❤❤❤❤
Such a beautiful story. I suffered from Hyperimesis graviduram. I was admitted more than 10 times with my first child and 3 times with my second child. And I lost more 10 kg during my pregnancy 😅
Oh wow! I trust that the child is healthy, and that you are in good spirit as well. This is the exact reason as to why I started this podcast, I need woman to feel that they are not alone.
This was definitely my favorite episode ❤ love how real they are❤. I'd really love the win the competition definitely need a break for atleast a day 😅 .
