This Jean had the Phoenix Force for the whole series. In X-Men, the Animated Series she didn't have it as long, but while she had it she was VASTLY more powerful than this Jean with the Phoenix.

Jean in this show in mainly the reason of why I really wanted a season 2 from this show, they got rid of the Phoenix deal quick and in a very good way and Jean could have been an amazing replace for Emma, and the creators of the series said Jean would have possess the mind of Emma in her head, a really interesting concept we never got to see :'c (Good video btw)

There are two missing feats, though to be fair, they are not explicitly seen to be Jean, but are implied: 1) During Scott’s memory of when he was a kid at the hospital, Young Scott is asked by a doctor what he remembered and we hear a sound similar to when telepaths on the show use their powers. Then Scott asks Emma Frost what that memory has to do with Jean, in which Emma replies he led her to that memory. This implies that Jean had something to do with Scott’s amnesia at that point (possibly to protect him from trauma) on a subconscious level. Not an express confirmation, but it seems to be an implication the show never got to explore. It’s also likely a reference to Classic X-Men #42, where Young Jean and Xavier meets Young Scott for the first time and Jean comforts him. 2) Second feat is not a confirmed one, but still an implied feat. When Scott reveals to Xavier what Jean did at the mansion, he relates that he saw that same psychic fire in Polaris’ memories, implying Jean set off the chain of events leading to that dystopian future. (Or at least Phoenix did. Jean’s hand in it could have been minimal given it was taken from her, but it’s also likely that the Phoenix Force left the Cuckoos and entered Jean in a timeline where Wolverine doesn’t free Emma Frost, which would allow it possess and mature within Jean to consume the surface of the planet)
The scene with Jean and Magneto fighting with the bus using their powers is like the scene in the live action movie “x men apocalypse” when they fight with the helicopter using their powers
It's a problem in the comics too. Unfortunately Jean Grey is a victim of her own success. The Dark Phoenix saga was one of the greatest stories ever told (in any medium.) Writers could never make people care about her in any other story after that. It happens in real life sometimes too. You do one thing that is so big, so successful, so historic no one can ever see you as anything else again.

I think the problem with every film adaptation of Jean is that they never truly flesh her out as a character who comforts others and helps them through tense situations while having her own personality, and only have her show up and everyone saying she's amazing (without showing it) in one film, to only appear in the next with psychological issues resulting into the Phoenix Saga, even though they never really alluded such problems in the first place. Jean by all means is not the most interesting character but should have time devoted to her in order for us to truly feel her descent into madness under the will of the Phoenix, hence being the reason why the Phoenix Saga was most compelling when it was first published as having a character who was so caring immediately commit intergalactic genocide was very jarring to see. I think the best representation of Jean we've ever gotten was in either X-men the Animated Series or X-men Evolution. But regardless I hope when the MCU does introduce the X-men and Jean Grey, they won't make the same mistakes as before and actually devote enough time to allow us to feel something for Jean, instead of going immediately into the Phoenix Saga.

I liked Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner's live action portrayals as Jean Grey. When I went to see X-Men: Dark Phoenix I broke down and cried at the end of the movie cos I was suffering from depression at the time due to my grandmother passing away. I felt so bad for Jean Grey in X-Men: Dark Phoenix and I understood her pain and what she was going through.
