    Anyone saying Eris is "fine" is smoking crack, unless they get rushed down by a burn deck they run you over in a couple of turns.

    Huge fan of this deck! and gameplay I play a more budget version of the deck based on your version, and I'm having a blast playing it!

    Why Eris was counting to five on Game 1 xD? such a fan of the display of this game!

    Nice layout and stuff but where are the health meters/commander damage trackers?? It's pretty unclear what's happening

      there's a life counter on the top area of the video. there's no commander damage in duel commander

    With Eris gaining popularity and positioned in top tier, is it a possible candidate for "Banned as Commander" this coming May27(28 in Ph)?

      I wouldn't describe Eris as busted, and even if it was, it's nowhere near more sickening commanders like Guff, Markov, N'Ghathrod, Voja etc. She costs 10 mana, generates one dragon each turn and that's if you sequence your spells correctly, provides zero card draw - not sure how it be conceived as something worth banning.

      @@onimartinez8646 yes I duel with Eris all the time, and I specialize in duels among my playgroups. Nothing about it is OP.

    31:34 Pyroblast into the land? It's a joke? THE LANDS ARE COLORLESS!

    • @pilaciebow
      @pilaciebow 3 місяці тому +6

      It is a legal target. Pyroblast says, "...or destroy target permanent IF it's blue.". The play Ste went for here, if you didn't catch it, was just to proc the prowess trigger by casting the said spell.
      For your enlightenment, you may check out Red Elemental Blast then see how it is worded differently from Pyroblast.
      If Ste had casted Red Elemental Blast instead, then it would've been a misplay.

      here's the ruling for pyroblast in case you didn't know: Pyroblast can target any spell or permanent, not just a blue one. It checks the color of the target only on resolution. :)

      @Prvosienko 3 місяці тому +1

      you can target anything you want with pyroblast, but it only destroys blue spells and permanents. Good way to trigger Prowess even when no blue permanents are on the table.

      Back when Young Pyromancer was a playable card, people used to play pyroblast on anything just to get the token (for a potential blocker o getting lethal).
      It also helps to ask or google things before jumping into conclusions.
