i bought these 3 days ago. I had surgery on my right leg back in 09. Ever since then i cant run stand or do anything for extended periods of times. These shoes provide me the support needed in order to get back into running. Of course my time has increased given i have not ran in a few years but these shoes change the whole game for me! I'm no engineer yet but I automatically think the blades would need to be facing the opposite direction to propel you forward but its whatever. I won't buy them so it doesn't matter. I have the Under Armour Speedform Apollos and they are amazing!

Finally a good and honest review. I love how they look when I tried them on. I hated how they felt when I sprinted in the store with them. Utter crap to be honest. Felt like I was hitting the ground to hard where as my Puma Mobium's I feel like I'm gliding naturally. However, the look is amazing. I would get these just as a casual walk around shoe just cause they look so damn cool.

Music is annoying even though I like the song...I am trying to listen to the review and you have yo turn it down over the music. Not much info as in debris getting between the blades causing issues or discomfort. I am sure it may not have happened, but that's the first thing I think of with these shoes. Overall not a bad review as you mentioned many things, but didn't show them. Running backwards you showed a small sample...but again do the blades catch on stuff, would think they would grab things and cause potential tripping hazard going backwards. I like the idea...but I think they would bring issues as one breaking off and then they would I assume worthless. For $180 I don't see where these are any more than a gimmick or something to grab attention.

I want to gift them to my dad, he is a regular jogger but he likes to jog in sand/beach. if this one is not good, my other choice is zigreetrak from reebok(I personally love them, they're really solid) please provide me more info, thanks
Do no buy these for sand/beach !! The blades will stick in the sand and make running really difficult. These are meant for hard surfaces on which the blades can bounce.

These shoes were NOT made for running a race @nicekicks....? They're for jogging and running long distances for exercise, NOT races. and @sawink knows nothing about running, heel toe is the exact way you should run when running long distance for exercise, the blades help somewhat with propulsion forward on long runs. You would run on your toes mainly during a track race, not long distance. I would recommend these for a cross country runner for practice, a jogger or long distance runner.

i have a pair myself and i have asics, free runs, nike flexes and 3.0 and by far best this is the best and most comfort shoe i have yet!

surely if your foot is propelled forward you have to put more energy into lifting your leg off the ground. Evolution usually works better...
