😱 Shocking, all them great buildings going to waste , wear does all the money go with n Blackpool, from the time the season starts, must spend it on the seafront, when it should be spent on doing the place up. Shocking 😮. I'm coming down to Blackpool in March, I'm bringing my Lecky blanket now I've see that room. Plus a hot water bottle or 2, . I'd go & tell them to come & sort the room out.

Hi, I enjoy all your vlogs especially the hotel ones when we go to Blackpool we always stay at the big blue next to the pleasure beach and stay in a room facing the rides I'm 60yrs young but still like going on all the rides especially the big one!!. with me suffering from anxiety issues your vlogs always cheer me up. Hi random Steve and stocky greg very basic hotel quite old fashioned too no heating or hot water wow would l stay there nooooo 😲😳 only 3 people in the hotel l know it's out of season (winter ) but even so lol 😂 the breakfast looked good plenty of it as you say you get what you pay for 😊👍
We only stop there one night and that's all I could stomach to be honest with you things I do for you lot 🙂🙂🙂

Get what you pay for of course . The ymca is better. Good you got another room the first room wasn’t ideal but again it’s cheaper. I’d probably skip breakfast as deep fried the whole lot the beans were like pellets although I do love fried bread
It certainly was an interesting place but to its credit the breakfast was really nice
Thank you for the vlog. Sad to say I wouldn't stay there if you paid me. My Buddha what a sorry place Blackpool is no wonder people have stopped going there. RIP.

@@Randomanddesperate English resorts are a long-gone thing of the past. It's so cheap to travel abroad now who in their right mind would want to go to a UK resort. Your latest Vlog shows how bad Blackpool has become. Looked more like a slum than a holiday resort. I went to B/P many years ago (Thank Buddha only for 1 day) just to see what it was like. I couldn't find one restaurant I would have eaten in. As for staying there, you couldn't have paid me enough to even consider that. As said before RIP.

My impression was, at £45 for a single nights kip and a good breakfast (plus that sea view), not bad at all. Sleep wise, I'd have had a little nightcap and taken a couple of paracetamol to be honest (never sleep well in a strange bed the first night), which usually does the trick for me. Anyway, a great vid as usual and I hope you had better experience at the next hotel.
Well if you stay in many hotels like I do you don't have a problem going to sleep, you get used to it in time
£5 to park is terrible
And that's why I didn't park there nowhere I'm been rip off especially when you got a few side streets for free

I used to work in the hotel business about 20 yrs ago that was terrible .
Least Stockys towels were folded not chucked in the bathroom sink

We was only in there one night so I thought I just put up with it
it wouldnt surprise me in the least if that hotel was haunted. The vibe it gives off is so bad.

£45 per night you should get basic clean bedding, heating, hot water and a basic clean room, that looked disgusting to be honest.
I'll be honest with you Stewart it put me in a dark place that room that hotel I'm glad when I left.

breakfast not bad apart from the catering sausage and the non runny eggs. Its so desolate there no atmosphere. You two made the most of it which is great x

To be fair the staff was alright it's just it needs modernising like most of the hotels in Blackpool but the breakfast was lush

£20 to park your car and then they wonder why they can't fill the hotels, he had a good birthday I looked after him
@@Randomanddesperate i had a quick relook into the imperial parking to see of any changes and the parking fee has since been reduced, but its still a tenner a night. Hope you found somewhere alittle more accommodating and welcoming x

it does not look as if the room had been cleaned and the bed had looked as though someone had just had the night in .they obviously do not bother making the bed

I’m your dads generation , so to me that looked good value for £45. That breakfast looked excellent. As my old man used to say , you youngsters don’t know you’re born. I stayed at the Boulevard last time , and it was a tenner a night to park my Bentley round the back……..you kids are spoilt !
Not good when basic needs, ie. heating and hot water, are lacking...at least breakfast was good....(thank goodness!). So sorry....not a good advert for budget hotel scene......onwards and upwards! 🙂👍
Well the next hotel I visit is back to my usual random standard, I needed someone in my bed to keep me warm through the cold winter nights
