This made me cry - as I believe that animals/our pets truly are angels. The love we share and the bond between us is extraordinarily powerful. I know that my little geriatric cat is my angel and we *save each other every single day*. This animated short poignantly captured the power & the reciprocity of love and light shared between animals and their people. The mutual rescue from darkness and replacement with the most beautiful & unconditional love conceivable.
I decided to try fostering rescue cats because I wasn't ready to fully open my heart to a pet after the loss of my previous cat. Then I was given a fearful FIV+ tabby to care for who I wound up falling in love with. I feel like maybe we were each what the other needed at that point in our lives. I don't think I would have made it through the past three years without him to give me something good in my life to focus on. That's a lot of words to say that this film was absolutely lovely and moved me in a big way. Thank you so much for giving us this.
As.lomg.as.priorities are in order!.the old, women, children and then animals ! That's fine and dandy! Starving - lonely elderly mem and women who gave all in their.lives are.forgotten A LOT- MANY fought in wars to.protect our freedom! They're old.and.NO ONE WANTS THEM NOW! that was what this reminded me of a lot.- that and not.animals brought my heart heavy 💔 with sadness here-
