I’ve just got one on hire after my DS3 died on me…I’m quickly looking into getting one because I’ve fallen in love with it 😂
Good review, nice presenter.
Thanks!
I have the Corsa Elite which they have recently ditched. When I bought the car I was told it would have electric hand brake, stop start. however when I picked it up I was shocked to find a manual handbrake and key start. I was told it was a parts issue and tough, no retro that it. This has put me off going for another vauxhall in the future. on top of this I had a number of issues like the heated seats intermittently working , windows do not roll to the bottom and even the bonnet not being completely flush at one side. What is interesting is that The Elite version was suppose to be better than the Mid range that they sold. The Mid range comes with the electric parking and LED Brake lights . You would think by getting a near top of the line model that you would get all the mid and low specs with the extras thrown in. As in this video you do not even get the navigation. Speed Handling I would highly recommend a 100 Turbo I stupidly went for the 75HP model thinking it would be as good as their previous 1.4 Corsa but its like they stuck a small engine in a big car total struggles at even the smallest of hills. To put things into perspective my first car a KIA Picanto which was 1.1 could do much better at hill starts and whizzing around town. The 75HP corsa really is not good enjoyable drive and sometimes quite embarrassing. Yes it looks good from the outside but I feel cheated some how.
Mine is the elite premium nav automatic which has keyless entry and electronic handbrake
Stick with your manual handbrake, less to go wrong. Don't ask me how I know that 😮
Great review, thanks for not blending with the electric one
Why, it's the best one
Had a corsa 191 didn't like it so got a mirca n sport Happy with that
The ideal small car that's massive compared to the original model corsa .
So is every car tho
Every car is massive compared to when it was first launched
If I’m using a satnav, I WANT it in my eyeline, so Idon’t have to look away from the road to look at the map.
No mention of the hugely over-assisted brakes that will stand it on its nose as soon as you look at them? Or the absolutely dead steering whose electric assistance wants to centre the wheel all the time, meaning you have to keep correcting it. I'm not talking about spanking it, just trying to cruise down the A1. I'm 6ft tall, and there is no way I could get into the back seat when the front seats were set for me.
On the plus side, the engine really is strong for just 100bhp, and will overtake on the motorway in 6th. Clutch and throttle are both progressive and smooth, just a shame the brake isn't. 50mpg is very much achievable at 60-70 on the motorway. For a petrol engine that is remarkable. Unlike older Vauxhalls, the seats are very good. Although the seatbelt is not adjustable for height, so felt rather weird in its placement across my body. Thick "B" pillars mean it was difficult for me to check my blind spot.
Would I get one? No, very much no. Should you? I would insist on a test drive first. The brake and steering issues totally spoiled it for me (I gather it wasn't just this particular car) but it may be fine for you. These are £25K now though, and for a small car without a lot of fancy stuff, that feels way too much.
I've got the Corsa elite premium nav automatic 1.2 turbo
Happy?
@@HomeboyHotel yes I am actually
Using Apple car play is very simple. I’m surprised you didn’t work it out before making this video!
Simple when it works. Unfortunately it doesn’t always do that!
@@ParkersTV I have a sports version and to make it properly work with Android Auto and CarPlay you need to plug the phone in before starting the car
'Small car', it's MASSIVE !
'Small cars now are probably 20+% bigger than an small car in the 80s (look at the mini).
Does it have a spare wheel or one of those ridiculous inflation kits?
Inflation kits
For looks I would take 208
Annoying dials
Annoying steering wheel which makes the dashboard hardly visible to the driver!
Does the arm rest move forward or does it stay in that awful position?
On the mid-range one I drove, it did move back.
How reliable are they ?
Like connecting to car play that reliable
I love the looks of the Corsa, but as soon as you open the door and get in its sortta drab a d is compromised with its extremely poor rear legroom and ridiculously narrow rear doors that you can barely get in and out of, I've noticed with every review of this car that you never actually see a reviewer attempt to get in the back....there is a reason for that, however if your a 4 year old toddler it's perfect, the 2008 is as bad as is the Toyota Yaris, and at 20k to buy one, forget it.
Lol despite all that...i still like it
I like the dark drab interior, I do drive a 20 year old Vectra though.
E este o novo opel corsa a 5 anos que este isiste algun dia eventam outro mais moderno corsa
Facia?
What a pity you've done away with the 3 door as it's my personal favourite as a disabled person
Well.. least it's got wheels👍
As long as there's a Griffin on the bonnet, I'd rather walk 😂😂
Shes lovely😍
I'm liking the dress better than the car.! 😂😂
I am a male, and I have mine in power orange. I couldn't have it in blue, yuck. I don't like the colour blue anymore, I loved it when I was younger.
cool story
😢😊 huge pillars and huge doors are for added safety ..😅🎉.
Its a peuguet
Whats your clowthes ???? Your corps
First
Rubbish to drive, crashes over all surfaces, cabin ergonomics awful. Car for sheep.
Ford Fiesta is the better car, it’s not even a Vauxhall, it’s a Peugeot in disguise
