This is nuts, this video was pre loaded on my Zune when I was an early teen. This had to be 13 or so years ago. I was obsessed with this music video, but after a few months my Zune crashed. I never knew the name of the song or the band and could never remember any lyrics.
It's been nearly 15 years. Every now and then I would try googling things, because all I could remember for sure was the paper ghost in the beginning. And I just now, after over a decade, finally found it. Crazy nostalgia happening to me right now.

this has gotta be one of the best songs of all time. top 100 in my books easily.
This song is awesome, really catchy in the entire blending. This band is capable to mix alternative and electronics, I can't set CSS albums into a particular category owing to a too wide range of styles they come across. I definitely take them out of rock, but thinking of them like an electronic band sounds unusual as well. We might easily argue about a new kind of music, easier said than shown.

This song has always been a catchy tune, but I’ve always had to laugh about the fact that this song is practically entirely composed with sound effects and sampling yet they have three guitarists in the video lol. The part where they’re all jamming out and whistling at the end is funny too. Lol.

Eu lembro!!!! Era do MTV Ash, era um VT de indicações de músicas com estilos diferentes. O delas com o Strokes era o primeiro de uma série de 4 VT's. Ficou acho que uns 2 anos com isso porque fez sucesso. MTV prestava muito, rapaz, era referência pra tudo!
