@@anglerinmalta6763 u come here ill take u fishing my friend.. we slide everything from octopus to eel and shark meat lol.. on the big island of Hawaii you can catch Marlin from shore..
I find that for the most part, smaller ocean fish are much more tasty. I only gut them, put some garlic, lemon, salt and butter in the cavity and toss on the grill. No need to scale them or any other prep needed. Only grill a few minutes, don’t overcook! After you do a few you’ll get a feel for how long to cook. With corn on the cob it’s a meal fit for a king! (and Queen). And if you toss the guts back in the surf or feed the gulls there’s no waste to deal with.
That sounds good! I use to live around the saltwater in Florida cought lots of what I call inshore pan fish . Fryd is ok but baked is really good. Never grilled one so its happening soon.

So guy's this was in morocco area of atlantic ocean casablanca city. Fot this bait just use any kind of sardin can doesn't matter if tomatos or oil. For sand optional also . Just they put sand for the small fish will not eat from it coz sand willl hurt thier tooth hahaha. But sand is just optional . Release thoses small fish and catch them when they are bigger! You can even use them as live bait to catch bigger predator fish! ... I understand thats fishing is different all over the world, and a lot of small fish makes a nice meal! But target bigger fish, thoses fish need to grow! Nice video, i loved the spicy tomato sardine can with flour and sand! 😉😘
Its 1 of the richest fishing places in the world. These guys fish for a living. They only earn what they catch. They are not in competition to catch the biggest fish. You must be american? You are the only ones rich enough to build private ponds and can stock them with all sorts of fish. That is what I gather from youtube.
@@freerolll I'm not American, I live in Europe and fishing from the beach in shore jigging (with 150€ rod/reel combo) to eat and I release small fish. I don't like people fishing in pond, it's completely dumb to put a fish in a bathtub to "fishing it". Good detective job 🤪🤭...

It's any soft sand cause it has tow big roles 1: to protect tje bait from getting eat by small fish 2: to make it more resetting to water and not dissolve Plus: you can also use soacked bread in water in place of flour
Try it. Blue catfish eat many salt water fish with a strong flavor. Namely, mullet, pinfish, and crabs. I live where the fresh and salt water intermingle and blue cats are voracious feeders on blue crabs in this environment. Of course we have salt water menhaden trying to move upstream at this time and all catfish are feeding heavily on them now. They are strongly fishy odored and only about 2-1/2" long now on the Middle Texas Coast.
I have tried with bread crumbs instead of sand, it was a waste. It did not work at all. It just got loose once it hit the water and hold not more than 15 secs. I think refined sand (white or red sand) will be better for the bait to stay longer.
@@Tranceislands just use blended oat , catfood or even crushed biscuit just make sure your grain is fine enough so thats why I suggested you to blend this grain first

So basically you need sardines with oil or tomato in case if you only have sardines with water you're going need to add sardines oil it's a special oil that can't be eat and it's sold at the fishing stores he's role is to attract fishs and ad smell to the bait Wish that i did answer your question even if I'm just a beginner and i try to share my knowledge
I think this technique is an MOROCCAN invention and alsow it's effective in surf casting (fishing) you can also use soacked bread in water in place of flour at the and you should get a a dough whit a strong sardines smell

Why is the sand necessary?
The sand will hold the food together otherwise it’ll break easily in the water.
the flour (gluten) holds the bait together. the sand is just to make it sink better

When you have "Sand of the Sea" Is that literally Sand from the beach by the ocean? Would sand on a river bank work? would adding salt to it help?
Well if u're fishin in a river there's no need to add salt to the sand
