Your videos are so amazing and inspiring. I'm trying to learn belly dance by myself on the internet, but I didn't found out anything really inspiring until I met you. I have PTSD, anxiety and panic that keeps me loked inside my house most of the time. It's very good to see someone teaching with focus on overcome traumas, love yourself as you are and dance for dancing. Thank you.
I just did this video for the first time with my four year old. I have chronic pain so moving is difficult for me but her joy over dancing helps to motivate me. Thank you for teaching us the way you do. ♡
I decided I'm going to use your videos for my morning exercise and I did not expect to also get a positive affirmation mixed in. Your personality and teaching style brought a smile to my face as I loosened the stiffness from my back and hips. Thank you for your videos.
Went here at the suggestion of my therapist. It was fun, as long as I don't think about how I look. Lol. But I really like the way you do this. You did it in a way that makes me (or anyone) feel like you're talking directly to me. Very well done.
I haven't felt comfortable dancing for a long time after I was bullied for my dancing style, but today I felt a familiar joy in moving to the music that I remember from when I first started dance. Thank you so much for encouraging me to start moving again.
Been seeing your shorts for maybe a year now. You got me dancing at work too my pop and metal music and now I'm here to try to get comfy in my mid 30s body that needs a lot of love. Thank you for your wonderful approach to movement. ❤️
I don't know how but somehow despite knowing how much fun dancing is and especially dancing like this.. when i follow along and do the steps in your videos it unleashes an amount of joy prior unknown to me. I am so grateful to you. Also the just dancing part actually feels like dancing with you and that itself is also so healing. Thank you ❤🦋
Seeing how dancing helped you to endure trauma of being shot (I have a still probably broken arm from a car accident which was 2 years ago(It's a long story as to how I don't know or when the metal will be removed), effecting my left side of my body AKA pain all the time). And mentioning it helps with mental health which is very true physical movite creates dopamine, love dancing and when you do you will me serotonin. Build confidence and lower competaness helping with self esteem, self worth and feel SAFE.
You are so right Rebecca. It's sometimes hard to start, but once I do, I am so happy. The mental gymnastics I have done in the past to avoid pain were extraordinary! I am a retired nurse and I hope your arm finally heals. 🙏🏻 I wish you the best!

Thank you so much for this lesson, I used to belly dance as a teen but over the years idk, I guess I started feeling self conscious and stopped dancing altogether. Finally picked it back up now after a near-death experience and I felt a bit awkward starting up again because I’ve gotten so rusty… but after watching your videos, especially this one, I feel… and I know it’s gonna sound silly, but in a way I feel as if I have your “blessing” to dance however I feel, and as you played the music I was able to improvise and shake the rust off and… it felt wonderful! ❤ Thank you once again, you are amazing!❤

My body betrayed me with an autoimmune disease. I hate my body, both how it now looks and works, or doesn't work really. I'm trying to at least hate it less

Your movements speak to my body pain, my trauma, my struggles. I haven't ever experienced this before.
It may be because bellydance emphasizes hip movement so much, and many of us "store" trauma in this area of the body. Blessed healing to you. 💜🙏🏾
