Also I use poly car ramps to drive the front casters onto and get the 52" in there and a few inches over the wheel wells. Screw them to a board that keeps them in place ezpz
I've been using the Mow and Go Systems ramp this entire season and it's been fantastic! I know you guys have an affiliate deal with the ramp rack but as another option the Mow and Go is a fraction of the cost.
@@aaronhawks9016 I have it on a 2011 F150 V8. I did add coil over shocks to the back for better support. We run 48" Hustler Trimstar mowers. We have the two tier bed rail racks and a swing arm on the back that holds two backpack blowers.
Great product made in Maryland. I will definitely be getting one of these, but I wish the headache rack extended over the cab to provide a second shelf. It was great talking to you yesterday Mike. Thanks for all the input and affirming my ideas.
Hey Mike! Out here in central California, bagging clippings is normal and expected as well. Most people around here who don't have dumb beds use burlaps and tie clippings in them. They are able to hold more than a bin. Maybe something to try
Hey Mike, a great idea imo for grass collection would be a compact light weight side dump where the rack at the front of the truck sits. Making the rack to sit above the truck bed rails . Just keeping 1 garbage bin on hand to dump clippings into ,then dumping it into the side dump. Something to think about! Just a thought.
Hey Mike, great videos as always. In case you ever decide to run larger mower such as a 36 or 48 walk behind or stand on, it would be nice if there was some type of mounting brackets to mount a 12-volt winch so that you can get your mower up on to the truck if needed.
Looks like there's enough room for a couple bins to be attached to the side of the ramp rack as long as additional service lights get installed for brake and back up. Looks like almost enough room for 4 compostable bags (2/side)or bins once shelving is installed. But all that's beyond my budget at this point. I'd still need room for a standard mower though. got gates that are too small for the rider. Currently stuck with trailer and escape (one pre-retired man op) but you could possibly put something in front for clippings as well,
I been wanting one of these for years for my single operator set up, the roads are so rough in my area the pot holes absolutely destroyed my little old trailer V.V but that price tag O.o

Great set up, not sure if you ever thought about this, but having your guys bag the clippings, not taking them their trucks but leaving the bags, so you have more space for a zero turn or whatever else in the bed, and have a v6 truck with just one guy dedicated to go around and pick up the bags full of clippings in a timely manner, its a job you can have anybody do , just something to think about 🤙🏽
We use a custom made wood ramp that only cost us about $100.00 (one hundred) dollars to make it. We use our ramp daily to place a 42” Zero Turn on the bed of a truck and we can do it with ease up and down. We don’t like trailers for an every day operation.
Hey Mike, after you bag your clippings where do you dump your clippings? im looking for new ideas on places to dump clippings after i bag them, and put them in the truck what to do with it at that point? our city dump is like 30 bucks per truck bed, I live on a 1/4 acre lot home with no extra room to dump. thanks
Hey Mike, I know this is a bit odd, but where did you get those brown pants. I am looking around trying to find some good brown work pants but not finding many
Thanks man, im looking to buy by april. I saw the headache rack and like how you utilized the inner walls for the tool racks for the rakes. Idk how that would work on outside of bed. Im lookng at the PU-300 headache.
Depends on the truck you buy and the suspension it has. We have not had an issue with this. I know on Ford Rangers sometimes people will install extra airbag or spring support for bed
Hey I was just wondering, do you need the side mount for the trimmer rack or could you put the trimmer rack straight on the side rails without the side mount? I know it would be higher up but just curious. Thanks!
Bagging clippings is weird. Here in Central New York the company I work for has about 250 lawns to mow in a week. Less than 10 people want their clippings bagged.
My question to having your whippers mounted on the side like that. How Much does it make a blind spot using your mirrors backing up in narrow driveways? They seem like they are kind of in direct view to actually see the Light end. Like I know my Truck and how to drive but i live in nova scotia Canada and some of the drive ways here are just retarded it's best to back in than back out. Some i have to back trailers in and i can back a trailer like a pro using my mirrors to see my light ends or Flasher Rods. I'm very curious because that rig would be sweet for my area no one uses them and i wouldn't need to haul a trailer around all the time for most jobs trailers cost money specially on fuel.
@@MikeAndes Sweet it looks like a product i'd really like to take advantage of. I asked this question because years ago i worked for an oil rig company in sask and they had a tool box/flat bed the tool box stuck out to far to see most of the trailers we hauled even with flag rods hanging on the side. You could not see them until they were a quarter way of meeting your truck Which is to far gone most of the time. Thanks for letting me know that was my biggest consider.
