😂 The wheel away part. 😂 And him having the opposite fruit of luffy makes sense. Because it seems from what we have seen. That luffy can do something similar to imu. Give new transformations and powers to his crew. When he truly unlocks the power that imu is already at.
If u pause and see the moment where imu bites off the flame u would probably see the face of a dragon but later when imu gets on all fours it looks like a salamander type thingy

I feel like the Umibozo may potentially be those towering creatures in the Florian Triangle during Thriller Bark arc. There are multiple (at least 3 I believe) and roaming the sea. They did have the narrator say that ships had been disappearing well before Thriller Bark even pulled up there. Umibozo are known for creating bad weather conditions at sea and specifically sinking ships they come across with only a couple certain ways to avoid that.

Imu and elders are probably some otherworldly beings who ate the perfected devil fruit of chopper's version where they can transform into clear human. I really don't want one piece to turn into an alien show but that's the only possibility I see here. Also at the egg head when all the elders fighting Luffy appeared and disappeared after Emeth untied the Haki knot, i will assume that the gorosei don't exist. They are just fragments of IMU's devil's fruit just like how Vegapunks are split up
As a regular One Piece manga reader, I know what is next. Don't get me wrong I'm not connivingly trying spoil anything, but to be honest I can't help it. Still interesting seeing Sabo take a whole lotta damage to his actual body from Imu (even though Cobra still stood up after being hit by them while in a wheel chair lol)

😮 Imu is a Fishman Sea Devil! My theory is the Gods of the Elements Sound, Wind,, Fire,, Water,, Earth,, Gravity, Music, were bored & bestowed power to dream seekers! Invisibility, Flight, Toymaking, Energy Manipulation, Giants were mutations from planets 1st encounter w/humans & God's battling for supremacy!

I still think Imu is Oda's only L with One Piece. I genuinely don't care about an antagonist that looks like a chess piece or paint brush. If it wasn't for not knowing 'their' power properly (won't put manga spoilers here but we have a pretty decent idea already). As someone that reads the manga, this amorphous blob chase didn't fill me with dread or fear, it made me laugh honestly.
I think unless he turns it around, I really hope Blackbeard is the final Antagonist (or another unforeseen menace we haven't seen yet or didn't see coming through a plot twist.)
I actually don't think most of the big shows I've watched have had a great Antagonist as a final villain. It always ends up in a wishy-washy half one, half-other main villain as all these stories finish out. Naruto (Madara / Tobi / That woman who's name I can't recall) My Hero (Shigaraki / All Might) etc
I think OP is def too early to call but i hope it's not this weird-ass looking paintbrush that I can't take seriously at all due to the body proportions being so off.

@@jzwadlo Imu is definitely a no nonsense villain. The way he speaks the fact that he's immortal/800 years old, the literal fact that he has a devil tail. Sometimes in life what you're looking for is right in front of you.
I noticed how in their transformations they look smaller but it could just be the previews, so who knows...I cant wait how they are going to be portrayed in full blown transformation in Egghead, I dont know why I feel that BlackBeard is gonna be the one to take Imu down and take his power...and we already have a preview of that with what Devon did with Saint Saturn.
