The furniture shop is the best building Lego has come up with in 2023. You are basically getting an Ikea, Anyone who is into Lego, design, or assembling things that come in a box, is likely a big fan of Ikea. So this is kind of a no-brainer for lego to do this. This set would work well in my Ninjago 2042 build...the year the world runs out of oil! Don't know what I am going to do with the minidolls...they aren't very ninja...perhaps they could be some alien race..or perhaps a bunch of people from California who are moving in after lockdowns because cost of living is lower.

I am a girl, but I only collect Star Wars and creators adults sets, and this set appeals to me… Unlike those previous pink and girly stuffs last waves.
If you don't like it, that's what the other licenses are for, and remember that Legacy Friends was suggested by girls who wanted more colorful sets, I like them because their sets have very nice structures to my lego city
While this is a good set I wouldn't say it's the best set of 2023. The new TIE bomber from Lego star wars beats it by a mile in my opinion. I just never really got into the friends themes. And it's not because I'm a male, it's because it reminds me of Lego toy story and I don't really like the cursed Lego toy story

Only thing i really don't like about this set is the crazy colour stairs, think i'd swap some of the parts for more muted colours
