- Questions and rumours have swirled about the whereabouts of the Princess of Wales.
Last month, Kensington Palace announced that Kate had undergone “planned abdominal surgery” and would be away from public duties until at least Easter.
This week, Prince William missed a memorial service for his godfather the late King Constantine of Greece because of a personal matter.
The Palace would not elaborate further but said Kate continues to be recovering well.
With King Charles having been more open about his health in the wake of treatment for an enlarged prostate and a shock cancer diagnosis, many have argued that the royals created a vacuum over the Princess of Wales’s health.
Has the sharing of personal details by Prince Harry and Meghan fuelled a desire for people to know more information about the Royal Family?

I had abdominal surgery and it is a horrible operation and it takes weeks, months before finding one's feet. Please leave Catherine Princess of Wales alone and give her time to recover fully. Stop the speculation it sucks!
As I, it took me 3 plus months. Goodness, imagine she can't be seen without full makeup and wardrobe. Plus, her children need not know more.The palace has told everyone.
Exactly, it took me six months before I was half way back to normal and at the time I was only 28 years old. I pray for her and a complete healing. It is none of our business what type surgery she had. We need to be providing prayer and best wishes daily.

It took me MONTHS to recover from abdominal surgery. She’s expected to be perfect at all times. Can you imagine what would be said if she returned earlier and was pale, uncomfortable, and not up to the impossibly high standards that are expected of her? She’d be crucified. The internet would crash, the sugars and Sussex Squad would be making memes and spreading more gossip and conspiracy theories. POW is in a tough spot. The RF is expected to be solid and stoic at all times. If there was a weakness exposed, the world would lose its mind.

I don't think the children live with them, if they actually exist! I think at the most, they will have shared custody, as a separated/divorced couple would have.
I can't help thinking that any children aren't Harry's, if they exist at all and DNA is the only way of finding that out.

Kinsey made a great point regarding people who are now expecting to know more about the British Royal Family and that expectation of people is derived from Harry and Meghan over-sharing.
There is no explanation needed. If he has had a personal reason to cancel an engagement, he is intittled to do so. We're told we won't expect to see Princess Cathetinr during her recovery, which is until after Easter, so wait until then to see her if we really have a good intention at heart towards Catherine. This pretense concern is BS.
The press are all trying to get a "scoop" so they can earn top dollar - vultures!
A good friend of mine, who had kept herself fit all her life, loves racquet sports, horse riding and so on, had to have a hysterectomy when she was in her late forties. The surgery went well, the operation was a success, and my friend spent at least 6 weeks in serious convalescence, told by her consultant she had to rest as much as possible, which meant lying flat or semi-recumbent, not going out, and that she was not allowed to lift anything heavier than a bottle of milk. Shortly after the 6 weeks, feeling perfectly well, she started to take short walks out but not much else, and everything done slowly and gently, pretty much all on the flat with no steep slopes, and certainly with no bending or lifting.
Somehow of other - she has no idea herself how it happened, but was told afterwards by her surgeon it is not unusual - she strained her internal stitches, and this in turn set up an infection, also internal, leading to treatment over several weeks with antibiotics, and I think also steroids, as well as the usual paracetamol/whatever for easing the flu-like symptoms. She was in pain, at times running a temperature, had very little energy, and felt awful.
Eventually they got the infection under control, but she had to go back to serious convalescence all over again during the infection and for another 8 or so weeks afterwards. My guess with the Princess of Wales is that she has been warned, nicely, by her medical team that there is simply no point at all trying to hurry the period of healing and reconditioning needed after deep abdominal surgery. There is nothing to be gained by rushing it, nothing at all. Okay, the general public may get her back, doing Royal duties, 4 weeks sooner, but seeing that she has a lifetime of duty ahead of her, maybe for the next 50 years, including a role as our Queen when William becomes King, then an extra 4 weeks taken now, for recovery and healing, is nothing. If she has the option to take an extra four weeks or even six weeks of *complete* rest, on top of the usual 6-8 weeks, then I think she should do so. I also think we should leave her alone in the meantime.
Kensington Palace made it very clear that Catherine has had abdominal surgery and that she was expected to be out and about only around Easter time. We know that both William and Catherine are very private people. So, leave Catherine alone. Let her rest and recuperate well.

Kinsey, thank god for your down-to-earth reporting on this... As you said: she just had abdominal surgery and needs time for recovery at home. All this hysteria only shows how much we have taken her presence for granted and how popular and important she is. Future queen and the shining star of the royal family. William and his kids need her, the royals need her and she is loved and liked the world over. The concern mainly shows her importance and her popularity, which is only growing. Let's hope for some reassurance and some peace and quiet for a speedy recovery. She deserves that.

Why do we need to know where this woman is? They told everyone that she’s recovering, so that’s where she is? I had an accident and I took months to recover at home and didn’t leave the house? Why the panic?
I think the media is being very unfair to the Prince and Princess of Wales, because it's obvious that Catherine needed this surgery, just as she needs time to heal without having to deal with the media's constant scrutiny. Most abdominal surgery is not a 'simple' recovery, a long recovery is normal. Not only are you healing from the operation and dealing with the pain from that, but also you're dealing with the possibility of severe infections, due to bacteria from the stomach, or the colon. Leave them alone and let her recover so when she returns to work she's physically recovered enough to deal with her grueling schedule.

WTH??? I had abdominal surgery to remove fibroids, and was out for 3 months. My mom had to stay with me for over a month because I couldn’t stand up let alone walk. I looked like hell and felt like it too. It took another three months to feel relatively normal again. So idiots need to just take a pill and STHU. 🤫🤐😂

Having had serious abdominal surgery myself I can understand the time needed to recover, and harassing Catherine to perhaps show herself earlier to shut you all up is deplorable. I understand now why they have a hatred of British journalist, have some class and dignity by observing her wish to recover in private.

Perhaps the reason they don’t release it, is because of their children who are in the public eye. Nobody wants their children to find out what they are physically dealing with. You release that, the kids find out. I am concerned about the Princess and miss her. Like Princess Diana, she’s a huge presence with The People. I wish them all well. 🙏
It's all a ruse to save millions. They have to say they don't feel safe in the UK to get IPP status. IPP status would grant them tax payer funded security from whatever government in whatever country they are in. They are just sponging again. On her penultimate trip to the UK, she fully wound down her car window for a planned photo and same day deliberately stood by an open window at the Palace, for another planned shot. She clearly felt very safe & comfortable.
@nataliebenedict • IPP status would also give Harry and his wife immunity from prosecution, in both Crown and Civil Courts. This would be rather helpful to both of them with Harry's current visa concerns and his wife being taken to court by Samantha.
The thing that concerns me most though, is that IPP status would give the pair access to the highest level of confidential information, including the schedules of other family members, as well as national security concerns. Given their fondness for oversharing, I think it would be extremely foolish to let them know anything about either.
I'm still feeling confident that Harry will not get his IPP status returned though.
@@monicawarner4091 he won't get it now he's lost this one with ravec. He knows he needed this for IPP status, that's why he lied about feeling unsafe in the UK. Also the NYC car chase that never was, was all a set up to help boost his fictitious claims.
