From the comments, it's noticeable that the instruction needs to include that the center rail is placed head to foot and not side-to-side.

Center rail should be adjustable, it is too long for full bed size.

I have one that did not have the holes in the fold-out parts, so could only be put together with the extender, and that makes it too big across for a full sized bed.

My bed just falls thru on the sides - middle is fine but sides fall so I guess I need to just screw some boards in

I think you only need the rail if you have a king or Cali king

Can you help me understand if the bed frames are made for all three sizes, how is the middle support rail the same size for all bed sizes if the bed width are different? For example a queen is wider than a full, how would the middle support rail reach across horizontally?

The piece is head to foot not rail to rail so if you put it rail to rail it looks too short but when you move it where it’s head to foot it fits
