The light bulb flashed a warning, saying it would cost me $30. It was only my first light bulb, but it was enough to make me think twice. I had to sing this for chorus in online school. So out of tune yet still fun
1999 I'm a drunk 19 year old American in Munich Germany at OktoberFest scared to death seeing people carted out by paramedics with oxygen mask hooked to them cause they were so drunk. Several beer tents later they played Country roads and every German and other nations that attended the festival stood up and sang verbatim every word to the song and I realized I wasn't too far from home! Prost John Denver :-)
So I’m romanian, living in UK for more than 5 years, visited most of EU counties, but I was able to sing this song after a couple of ties. I cry for some reason when I sing it, but all say that my voice has a resemblance to john. Maybe, maybe not, maybe i have John’s DNA in me.
