  • At MIT Lincoln Laboratory, we have been a proud partner of The National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science (GEM). The GEM Consortium enables students from underrepresented communities to pursue graduate education in applied science and engineering.
Each summer, Lincoln Laboratory hosts a group of GEM fellows pursuing graduate studies to work as summer interns. The Fellows gain hands-on experience in a leading-edge research environment and also have the opportunity to network with staff in the STEM field. Connecting with GEM has given the Laboratory the ability to reach exceptional engineers and scientists who may not have otherwise considered the Laboratory.
