You say at around 2:45 that you're using the shootaround to get a feel for the court. What does that mean exactly? Are you looking for weird dead spots on the court? How springy the rims are to better predict rebounds? Getting adjusted to the sight lines behind the baskets? Getting readjusted to the ball that's being used on the road since it's not the same brand/model that are used for home games?
He means they get used to it. Yes the hoops especially. Some have harder rims than others. Some courts are slippery, too lol. They just like to get used to it. It’s like warming up for a game.

I’m just saying UCLA is the best California program and also they got a top 5 recruiting class next year so they are still getting great players to come play for them. SDSU is good but they are no UCLA. There’s a reason UCLA makes almost every top recruits top 5 and SDSU doesn’t make it
