Hi. We use exactly this concept in our product. But I have a problem. The selected options will not appear in the cart as separate items, but only as a description of the main item. Is there a way to solve this?
Hi Marek! At the moment the default behavior of the plugin is to show any additional options as part of the main product item in the cart page. However, our team is working to include a similar feature in the future🙂Stay tuned!
Hi, @@midori6756! 😃 We released version 3.0.0 of our YITH WooCommerce Product Add-ons & Extra Options plugin today and it includes the option to add the options as separate items to the cart. It can be found in the sets of options > Advanced Settings tab. Right now, there's no integration with our YITH WooCommerce Barcodes and QR Codes plugin (nor with any other barcodes plugin) so the barcodes cannot be applied to the options. Stay tuned! 😉
Hi there! 😃 We see you have already contacted us through our website. Feel free to reply to our last email if you have further questions or contact us again anytime through the following contact form: yithemes.com/contact-form/. Stay tuned! 😉
Hi we bought the plugin and it worked awesome so far. Now I have quick view plugin with me which I want to display in the block options to show quick view button. Can you please let me know how can I add?
Hi, Pullata! 😃 In case you're using our YITH WooCommerce Quick View premium plugin, the integration between both plugins allows you to show the "Quick view" button in the shop so that users can have a quick view of the main product and select the custom options from that same quick view modal window. In case this is not what you're looking to do or you're using a different Quick View plugin, please, contact our developers so they can better assist you: yithemes.com/my-account/support/submit-a-ticket/. Stay tuned! 😉
Hello! It's me again! I'm planning to use this plugin again on a new project. There's one important thing that I need to know. In order to build a PC there are components that will not be compatible with others, so, how do I set that up? Is there a way to do this with the plugin? It is a very important feature in order to build PCs.
Hi, Sergio! 😃 You can configure conditional logic for the sets of options created with our YITH WooCommerce Product Add-Ons & Extra Options plugin. You can show or hide a set of options based on customer selection: docs.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-product-add-ons/conditional-logic/. We also recommend checking out another plugin of ours, YITH Composite Products for WooCommerce: yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-composite-products/, as it allows you to create a product with components that can be selected by users and create dependencies: docs.yithemes.com/yith-composite-products-for-woocommerce/premium-version-settings/creating-a-dependency/. Stay tuned! 😉
@@YITHOfficial Ok I've read the manual and teste the plugin. What I'm lacking is the abilty to create the following dependecy: For example, I choose a motherborad (MB01) that has a limit of 16 GB of ram, and the only ones that are compatible are 1 pack of 2x8 GB ram and 1 pack of 4 GB of Ram. How do I say that for that especific motherboard I can buy up to 4 packs of that 4GB Ram??? But for example there's another Motherborad (MB02) which only allows 8 GB of ram, so in this case I can only buy 2 packs of that same pack 4gb Ram. ?????
Hi again,@@sergio_grez 😄 For this, we recommend using YITH WooCommerce Product Add-Ons & Extra Options so you can create a set of options for each motherboard selection and pack, you can set selection rules so customers cannot select more than 4 packs of the 4 GB RAM for example - you can read about selection rules here: docs.yithemes.com/yith-woocommerce-product-add-ons/advanced-settings/ - and use conditional logic to show the correct pack based on the motherboard selection. If you have further questions about this, please write to us through our contact form so we can better assist you: yithemes.com/contact-form/. Stay tuned! 😉
Can the main product dictate the final price? for example, a donut store. Appart from the donuts themselves as products i have a "box of donuts" which you can fill with 6 donuts of your choice at a lower price. So the box dictates the price, not the items in it. Is this possible here?
Hi Sergio! Yes, this is also possible. In the example you have provided you will need to create first the main product “Box of 6 donuts” and set the price you want to charge for it. Then using YITH WooCommerce Product Add-ons & Extra Options, you can include the different options of donuts for the customers to select. To display the types of donuts, if you already have them as products in WooCommerce, you can use the “Product” add-on, and for the price select the option “Product price doesn´t change - set option as free”. In this way the customer will only select the flavors and pay the fixed price of the “Box of 6 donuts” product. I hope you find this information helpful, but do not hesitate to contact us yithemes.com/contact-form/ for further assistance! Kind regards!
@@YITHOfficial Thank you very much! so all this is possible just by using this plugin alone? Another important question is.. Is the data from the plugin exportable in csv like other data from woocommerce to fill the excel and import later on???
@@sergio_grez Hi again! Yes, the example I provide can be achieved by only using our plugin in a shop built with WordPress and WooCommerce. Regarding the option to export its data into a CSV file, I am afraid at the moment this is not a feature included. However, our team is working to incorporate it in the future. If you have any further inquiries, please feel free to reach us here yithemes.com/contact-form/ . Best regards!
Hi again! We bought the plugin! awesome so far. I only have one problem. When setting the products per line i can't get it to work. It always shows one product under the other no matter what I put in the settings. Can't get it to show 4 product one on the side of the other. What can be causing this issue? I work with Elementor Pro and Hello theme. Cheers!
