Thank you for this. I never could've done the wiring without your help. Thanks also for leaving in your mistakes. At least I'm not the only one who knocked it apart. Lol 💜
Yeah the bracket on that central ceiling light wasn’t right was it - good to know it’s ok to use tape to reinforce if the glue doesn’t cut it. I don’t feel like I cheated now 😊
This is one of the most beautiful kit I saw. It's so inspirational. People that design this kits must be geniuses. I just received this together with the cyberpunk kit and since are my first 2 builds (aside the Zodiac Clock) i can't wait and follow your super detailed instructions. The only reason i will have the manual next to me is to see the numbers of each peace. I thank you so much for your service and this amazing hobby. Thumbs up!! The only suggestion i can give is about glue, suggested from a very experienced person saying it's 100 times better then any other. It's B-7000 -Edited-. But never mind about the glue. I saw the whole episode and your glue seams to work very well.
@francesco2647, thanks for the comments. Hope the video helps and I'm always looking for other glues to use. Mine kind of get everything together, but there were some pieces that I had to glue multiple times, but it could of been my issue not using enough. Hope it goes together well. thanks again.

Thanks for your encouragement and glue info. I've ordered some, it'll be here next Tuesday. I'm coming from Ugears and Roku kits which require no glue so I put the railing together without glue and it was hard.
Dear Coop, Merry Christmas. I just completed The Secret Rhythm this morning. It was my second Book Nook and I am hooked on them but the first one I made to keep for myself. I appreciate your crafting space. I wish I had a dedicated area to construct. Your lighting and camera work is very helpful. I like how you discover things as you go such as giving tips in real-time and the unexpected like threading the lit table lamp in the loft out of order and having to redo it which is exactly what I did prior to watching that portion of the video. Thanks for the chuckle. I did appreciate referencing your tutorial along the way when I'd wonder what you did in trickier areas. My dustcover plexiglass in front is quite tight and I'm bothered that I have to mark it up with fingerprints just to activate the light pad. Let's face it, these kits are not Legos. They are not designed with the same exactness and precision as them but the designs are charming. Since I was a singer many years ago and very into music of all kinds, I couldn't resist the temptation of personalizing the interior with images and even photos that mean something to me and my musical tastes. I wish there was a way to send you photos. In the coming days, I will do my best to video my interior and upload it to my own UA-cam channel to show you what I've done. For instance, the two formally frame portraits of the composers were replaced by pictures of my late husband and myself just as I have in my own home. I feel no connection to Marilyn Monroe so the posters over the desk have been replaced by a scale photos of our grandchildren. The record albums scattered around the room are now the actual record album covers of artists I've always loved such as The Carpenters, Bette Midler, The Manhattan Transfer and Judy Garland. It took me multiple attempts to photograph my personal affects from the right distance to achieve the proper scale. I've never been to Paris so outside the big picture window is a view of the California Tower in Balboa Park, here in San Diego. The sheet music framed over the piano is now the last portrait of my husband, Les and me with our grandkid before he died. Another family photo appears on the shelves of the wall unit along with a photo of my folks from 1962. The posters along the left side of the main opening have been replaced by the programs from shows I sang in and in the desk drawer contains a review of one of the shows. No offense, Coop, but I eliminated the cat from my finished product 😆because, well, cats. I had great fun not just making this a music room but a music room that could be in my own home. I recommend that anyone interest in Book Nooks subscribe to your channel and watch it for clarification with challenging steps the written instructions don't fully address. These are not completely inexpensive and accidentally breaking parts or going too fast will compromise the end result. I recommend really good task lighting of some sort, gluing parts that don't always recommend glue, for stability, and not following the placement of objects so exactly, that you can't insert some of your own personality and creativity. The detail in this model is really quite good. Have fun, everyone. I'll do my best to upload my room tour to the comments here, on Coop's page so if you're interested, you can take a look. Happy Holidays! Here's the UA-cam link to my finished BookNook: ua-cam.com/video/xfhbq54trX4/v-deo.htmlsi=cTSWwAhac0jon7bT
@MichaelGangitano thanks for the comment. I appreciate you taking the time to personalize your book nook to make it meaningful to yourself. Most book nooks have one thing or another that make them unique in their own way, but adding touches like you describe make them more meaningful. I'm glad my vidoes have helped and always try to include as much as I can even the mistakes to show not everything goes together as easily as it should. Can't wait to see the pics of your book nook and hope if you venture to others to build. Please check out my other videos to see if there are any others that might be enjoyable to do. Happy Holidays and thanks again.
@jennabult5617, thanks for the comment. It may be how long the sets have been out and which company its coming from. Some of my earlier ones didnt have a dust cover, but the same ones coming out now do. Companies are learning to make the process easier, thanks again.
I’m not sure if you’re still looking for a new glue, but I use Beacon 3 in 1. It is an amazing glue. It holds absolutely everything, even metal to metal.
@lawrenceelliott350, thanks for the question. Sorry for whatever trouble you may have had with the railing, it was a little difficult, but the glue I used was Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky glue that can be found in most hobby places. Hope that helps, thanks again.
@@coopscreations2033 I am also using this glue and find it easy to work with. The only difficulty I notice is that for some of the pieces painted with a sheen, the glue doesn't adhere as well after it has dried and cured for a day, and I had to re-glue them. I found it helpful to add blobs of reinforcement to the back of the pieces (where it wouldn't show) to secure them.
Hello! I just received this "Secret Rhythm" kit, and, of all things, I can't figure out how the battery box opens. You didn't show that in this video. Is it shown in another video, and if so, would you please link it? Thank you for any help you have to give
@josie3974 thanks for the question. I did not show how the batter box opens as they all seem to open the same way and I assumed most everyone has dealt with these before so I apologize for not including that in my video. The battery compartment should open by pushing the long end away from you toward the two wires. There should be some arrows engraved on the side that opens up to show the direction it should go. Sometimes they are a little stubborn and you have to push a little harder than you think. Hopefully that helps and again I apologize for not showing that part I will try to include that in my next vidoes, thanks again.
I'm just at the final two lights part right now and yes I noticed the lower internal wall connector was actually for the 38cm wire in the book diagram and not the 28cm one. You have to look more closely at the image to see the difference. They really should have labelled that lower connector with 38cm in the manual to make it clearer for people. :)
I wish I watched this before attempting my kit, as of right now all the walls refuse to fit together well enough for me to put the ceiling in and it's driving me nuts. I'll probably take lots of things apart and follow your guide instead.
