- Hi Guys in this video we will take you from Delhi to Nainital by road by car through our Delhi to Nainital Vlog. In this video we will also explore Nainital Mall Road in night and will give you Nainital Mall Road full tour. In this video hum log Delhi se Nainital ka rasta via Haldwani cover karenge. Ye total journey approx 300 Kms ki hogi jise we will cover in 7 Hrs. This video will also give you the Delhi to Nainital road condition and Nainital live weather update today. We will cover this distance using our Volkswagen polo and will stay in Lakeside Inn hotel in Nainital Mall Road. We will explore the Nainital Mall Road in evening from 6 to 8 Pm when there is no vehicle movement. So you will also get feel of how Nainital Mall Road looks in evening with the lights on and with cold breeze kissing your cheeks. This makes it a perfect time to explore Mall Road Nainital at night.

Just curious why you didn't take the Kaladhungi route, it would have been a lot shorter
In fact to enjoy the beauty of hilly roads , one can opt for both the roads , one for going n the other one for returning....N I think going straight to bhimtal perhaps will suit the road via larhgodam...I loved the road while returning via kaladhungi...which for delhi is shorter one too..
Certainly one of best two hill stations wrt lake across mall road...

Nice video. Do you think the drive is easy enough for someone who has never driven in hills? I am planning to go in the end of January and wondering whether to take train or drive
The roads are in good shape.
There is always a first time and I think if you have confidence and keep left in hills and honk on curves it should not be a problem. However it is advisable to check the weather conditions prior and avoid travelling during rains and/ or early morning as there maybe black ice in some patches during morning and late evening.

Can you suggest is it okay to self drive from Delhi NCR to Nainital as i am a plain area driver, never been to hilly area in self driving
The hill area drive will be only 40-50 Kms. Rest is plains. The road condition is good.
You can take your car and follow the thumb rule of driving in hills by keeping left, honking on curves, keeping steady speed of 30-40 Kmph and avoiding overtaking on curves. You can enjoy the drive with beautiful views of hills and valleys.

Haldwani k baad road uphill hai. jyada nahi hai aur slow speed me problem nahi hogi.
Roads toh thoda zigzag hota hi hai . And jisko mountain sickness hoti hai usko thoda vomiting toh hosakta hai, mere bhi bache chhote thae jab mai gayi thi, but don't worry achae Mausam mei jao and heavy matt khana . Baki mi suggest karungi ki dhup jayada hone se pehle Nainital pahauch jao, taki bache sotae jaye ❤

Yes Hotel me Car parking hai, Badi SUV me dikkat ho sakti h but choti gaadi k liye koi dikkat nahi h. Hotel price around 5k tha lake view room ka per night. Hotel Lakeside Inn

Yes the road is safe. Slope is steep and curves are there but road condition is good.

You can go by either way kaladhungi road or from haldwani one.
I traveled nainital 3 times n its easy drive.
But Mussoorie n Lansdowne roads are dangerous for new comer.

There is one short way to Nainital if we go through Bazpur and skip Haldwani as shown in Google Maps. Do you have any idea about that way ?
Hi Vaibhav the route you are talking about goes through Bajpur--Kaladhungi--Khurpatal---Sariyatal and finally you reach Nainital. This is also scenic route specially towards last 30-40 Kms uphill drive from Kaladhungi where you will get to see places like Khurpatal and Sariyatal in the route. While returning we came from that route from Nainital. There is a vlog on that as well, you can check that on our channel to get idea about the road conditions.

There are many places/activities one can do i.e., boating in Naini Lake, Shopping in Tibetan Market, Evening walk in Mall Road, Visiting the Naina Devi Temple, visiting Tiffin Top, Nainital Zoo, trek to Cheena Peak(highest peak), Cable Car ride to Snow view point, or Day time Lake tour to nearby lakes like Sattal, Bhimtal, Nakuchiyatal, Paragliding in Bhimtal, etc. You can visit most of these places in 2-3 days.
