The two things that I desperately need to succeed here, are the row covers and irrigation set up. It seems as though, these two things have made a world of difference in managing a garden the size that you have. Beautiful job, you two🙂. I wish my husband cared to help me set up the garden I’ve dreamed of on my 5acre land. He said I was wasting my time and his money in my attempts to just build 5small beds. It takes at least 2, at times, to get a decent sized garden up and running.

Angie. I'm thoroughly discouraged by everyone also. Because I'm alone and rather disabled. I think Maya Angelou said, "use what you have to do what you can". We love you. And we are absolutely thrilled (!!!!!) That you keep on. Hold on and ask for help of others when you can. My strong neighbor is often outside. And if I need something moved etc he comes right over and helps. Try at church also. Lots of people have a half hour to lend a hand, if they know someone needs help. And it makes people feel good to help so don't cut short their pleasure by not letting them know you need a bit. And we'll pray for your encouragement. Many blessings everyone, everywhere.

I watched your full garden tour and it wore me out. I am so excited for you guys. WOW what a job harvesting all that wonderful God given garden. I thought of how much work it was to plant as well. Sooooo you encouraged me to go to my raised bed garden and harvest one of my cabbage. It was so amazing but had to cut a lot of the outside leaves because of worms. BUT I'm getting BT and that is going to stop. I learn something amazing every year. My mustard greens have been lacey because of the tiny black flea beetles. BT should put a stop to that. So in the fall I will be spraying. I put out slug bait and that helped as well. You two have taught me a lot. I use a lot of your recipes. A friend cannot believe I make pineapple jam. Strawberry jam is a hit as well. Thank you for being a great inspiration for me. Raised Bed gardening has been such a joy. I cannot wait for spring each year to get out and plant. Watching food grow is amazing. I'm already planning my garden for '24. God has surely blessed me . God bless you.

What beautiful gardens you have there! I watched the entire video on this rainy evening from my front porch, and I’ve really enjoyed every minute of this garden tour. Yes it’s hard work but what a time it will be during harvest!🙌🏽 I have a garden but nothing like you all. It’s a rewarding experience to grow your groceries. I love this channel and I love how you and Mr H work so well together. Peace and blessings from Alabama!

I really enjoyed this video, and I was laughing out loud at Tom the turkey and then Agatha and Penelope! 😂 I love ya'lls channel. You and Mr. H are such a lovely friendly couple, and such nice folks. ❤ I wish you guys were my neighbors. 😊 And living in a trailer park, I miss the days when I had room for a full-sized big garden. When I was growing up, some of my best memories are working in the garden with my granny and grandpa, as well as crawling under the crawlspace of their house with a jar opener, and stuffing myself with pickled beets! 😋 I'm sure they wondered where the beet thief came from... 😅 Thank you for the great videos that are fun to watch, and informative too! I have plants stuck in every available spot I have on my little lot, and am growing as much of my groceries as I possibly can! I love ya'll!

Angie you start small, step by step step. I’m 76 and single. I’m renting a house so I grow in 5 gallon buckets and grow bags. I just planted tomatoes cucumbers peppers blueberries and watermelon. I’m trusting God for a house with at least an acre. I will probably stick with the buckets and grow bags because they’re easier for me to manage. Less bending, and no digging. 🙌🏽
