Love eight-inch lights and mechanical bells. Along with cat's-eye/cataphote crossbucks, track number signs, and "STOP ON RED SIGNAL" signs, it seems like eight-inch lights are slowly becoming a thing of the past--such a shame. (And don't get me started on electronic bells....)
Not sure. One signal appears to be from the 60s at the latest, while the other appears to be from the 70s. And not everything's original, as the Safetran gate mechs are much newer than the majority of the rest of the equipment.
You should film this crossing that would be a cool video!

+Joel D. Terry "Stop on Red Signal" signs are still common in Michigan.
Interesting how the Bell is over the road!
2:18 Are there wasps in the bell?
Why are the railroad crossing gates malfunctioning?
I noticed on Google Maps, that this crossing had its lights replaced
Yea, CSX upgraded them within a year of me shooting this.
weird placement of that bell lol
+BBT609 Yep, only one of six signals I've seen with the bell like this.
the lights and cantilevers
+Lukas Poplin One was likely knocked down and got replaced.
Can you try to get a video of a CSX at this crossing?
Maybe eventually.
Hmm... crossbuck placement looks kind of weird!
+StarWarsTrains Yea, it does. Though I think it's due to a utility pole in front of the signal.
That actually happened at the crossing I filmed earlier. Check out my video that says (railroad crossing malfunction)
When were these signals installed? Everything is probably original.

How How sorry stutter how you don't no if the train is still on the sensor
Nice!
Railfan Cali UPRR Thanks!
Hey freebrickproductions what happen at that crossing.
Which crossing?
What does the gate feel like? I never got to touch one
+xxMineVSCraftxx // xxRailVSTrackxx Like aluminum. Fiberglass ones probably have a different feel though.
hmm just don't be touching fiberglass
ones it can make you get an irritated hand
found out the hard way
@@TriStateRailfan I think that's for fiberglass insulation
Where's the lights that's supposed to be under the crossbuck's
There aren't any.
Did a crossing in Nashville get replaced wasn’t it this one
+Mtray 98 Thus one had the lights at it get ypgraded, but it wasn't completely replaced.
Oh but didn’t this crossing have 2 12x20 Inch LED Incandescent Safetran Lights on the Signal Base not the Gate Base
Have you ever actually caught the crossing in action?
Not yet.
Bit upsetting. But take your time
this crossing also got upgraded
When
Sometime after I recorded this video. It now has WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs where the 8 inchers used to be.
why are the crossing different types
+Lukas Poplin The lights or the cantilevers?
Nice
Thanks!
