    19:02 if that level of polishing impresses you, try dremeling it with FLITZ and a felt pad. It will look even sharper than that if you can believe it!

    Do you work an hour on just the first sand paper ?

    • @lilg429
      @lilg429  3 роки тому +1

      So this depends a lot of if you are trying to remove deep scratches or casting marks. The cleaner the piece the less sanding time. It also depends on if you are using power tools. When everything looks uniform or the same. It’s time to go to the next grit

      @@lilg429 ok queation I stared out about 400 spend good time sanding then,800, 1000,150 up to 4000 . I have the a nice mirrow finish but I still see some lines scratches there from sanding on my product , now I don't have a buffering machine so I'm doing by just hand and mothers mag polish but is not coming off any advice on what I m doing wrong or need

    Will this work for say this ring I found?

    • @lilg429
      @lilg429  3 роки тому

      This form of sanding and polishing will work with small changes on all types of materials. Polishing is just the removal of scratches. The material will determine what the finish will look like. You polish thing by sanding/buffing with grits in a pyramid fashion o
