My favorite is to come here with 25 END and the Lost Incarnation tattoo that boosts regeneration. Then you can just heal all the damage back as the shadows deal it to you, so as long as you don't get surrounded you'll always be fine.

Bug? more like "getting killed during a cutscene!" XD

LOL good to know I'm not the only one who ran into that stupid shadows killing you during the cutscene bug.

Well, that is what happens when you don't kill everything.
Also if you bought the "Fist of Iron" spell from Keldor in the Great Foundry, that gives your Fist attacks a +3 weapon enchantment with +6 bonus to damage. It helps when you are a squishy mage.

That spell also cuts off your spellcasting while it's in effect, so buffing yourself beforehand is vital. But there's nothing in this game that forces you to be squishy if you're a mage; if you get enough experience levels you can train up your weapon proficiencies, Constitution, Strength, and Dexterity so you can hit and dodge with the best of them.

I wonder if your companions reactions will change if your attitude towards them or your alignment had changed

What the hell, such anticlimactic bug! Imagine not pausing the game for a cutscene.
I really hope they aren't dead, even if some did have some cool possible final moments...
