5:54 As far as I remember, there was a Polish majority in Zaolzie. The Czechoslovaks simply seized the opportunity during the Polish-Bolshevik war.
Tbh Poland could have made a treaty with the Czechoslovak that they (the Poles) would support against Germany in return of Zaolzie. You saw how a weaken Czechslovakia paved the way to Poland's downfall in 1939
@@vaninhhuu3215 It was annexed when already it was agreed that the whole czechoslovakia is going to be annexed anyway
@@bruhmoment3478 not really since Germany was the only one who had power to do that. Hungary and Poland did because they saw Czechoslav's weakeness. If Poland backed Czezhoslav insead, Hungary would back down, thus only Germany left to fight, who would be less willing to actual commit a war against 2 nations at one that they couldn't finish quickly
And my point is still stand, that the fall of Czechoslovakia lead to the fall of Poland
@@vaninhhuu3215 This attack is currently being criticized by some people, but well, the fear that the Germans would also occupy this area could have caused a military entry.
@@tomasrolter6729 that's why I said it would be much better if Poland made an alliance with Czechoslovakia instead of be the last straw that ruined Czechoslovakia. They could still gain Zaolzie if Czechoslovakia survived, and they had a good ally and buffer nation between Poland and Germany (instead of the southern border becoming Germany)

And majority od people there living was Polish (about 90%!) XDDD
Dude's either ignorant, or coping Czech (coping with the fact that their army didn't even fight), or Russian.
W*stoids can't understand that
Poles live under delusions and nationalist but selfvictimizating narrative propaganda. It was land belonging to Bohemian Crown like for whole millenia. Poles invaded first in 1919 and they wanted to annex Těšín.
Poles also invaded Russia in 1919 and wanted to restore borders of Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth, they indeed even stole some of Russian lands. Cried hard when Stalin came for it back.
those lands were assigned by the international body to Czechoslovakia, the same body that granted Poland's independence

2:47 Correction: The hungarians were the only nation who did NOT want to start WWI. In fact, they were fully commited to do everything they can to avoid it and end it ASAP, from trying to peace-talks between the offended countries, to constantly asking the Allied Powers constantly to help them end the war peacefully when it started. the austrian-german part was the one who really wanted the conflict.
One more correction, hungaria was not in fact a nation, and more of a colony/integrated puppet of Austria
@@zxihauntedixz_boy No, the Austro-Hungary Empire was, in fact, a Dual Monarchy where both major nations had their own rules and freedom, with the Austria side having a (slightly) bigger hand in matters like outside politics and military.
The Kaiser literally sent a letter to the Austrian government saying "Okay the Serbs have apologized enough don't declare war on them," the Austrians declared war before the letter could arrive because they sent it by carriage (as monarchs do) instead of just sending a telegram.
Even the Germans knew it was bad idea, they just couldn't bring themselves to use the damn phone because of decorum. Germans man.
@@jimbelaco4 thats not true

0:15 the Spanish empire lasted from 1492 to 1898 bruh

True
Technically even longer. In 1898 the last of the American territories were lost, but the Spanish Empire continued with some African colonies like Equatorial Guinea and Western Sahara and Spanish Morocco until 1976.
5:55 This is an outright lie. The Czechs would be more suitable for announcing to all and sundry how they were attacked, ignoring the fact that they themselves took this area by force when Poland was struggling with the Bolsheviks (violating the local agreement). The majority of the population there were Poles (this is shown in the censuses), the Czechs wanted this area mainly for the railway junction
It is not worth defending the Poles, they attacked Soviet Russia wanting to get more territories.
@@user-fy8nd6nz5wshut up bro, Poland did what was right.
