I could already see my mom thinking it looks cool but isn't really her thing. Until I tell her that this was the night sky at the time of her birth. Then she'd absolutely love it!!!

I have bought smaller black canvases at Hobby Lobby, I think, and some other colors but they were in 3 or 4 colors to package.

Oh I love the last diy we did a similar effect but with our Paris themed valentines back drop. It was something we've improvised at the moment; due to having limited funds and resources, that we recourse to pegging holes into styro board and inserting LED lights on them! That Eiffel Tower glittering lights turned out to be magical! 🥰

It might have been super cool to use glow-n-the-dark paint for the smaller stars. Turn off the lights in the room and the small bulbs would be bright, but smaller stars would light up like in the night sky. Just something I may try to see how it turns out. 🤔

He's using a bottle cutter. You can adjust it to the size of bottle your cutting. It's an art to getting the bottle to break cleanly on the score line, but a great way to make glasses, vases and other diy projects. You can find glass and bottle cutters at craft stores.

Great video but I can’t find any site to download the stars on the night I was born that are free. They all want loads of money to do it and send me a print 😥
Find yours, and just screenshot it. Then go print it out and continue with the project. That's what I did for the day me and my husband got married. 😊💗

Here in Canada you can find them at the dollar store for $2. The best ones are the ones with the build in timer, they only light for 6hrs and then 24hrs later they will turn on for 6hrs. They are a little more, $3. Now would be the time to find them, they are hard to find after Christmas. They can also be found at Michaels but they cost more.
That hologram projector idea was very good but the best was kept to last. The night sky on my birth date was perfect!

Jyoti Agrawal It’s a white paint marker. Obviously not simply a Sharpie, despite what the above genius wrote, although some oil-based paint markers are manufactured under the Sharpie brand.

Why would you cut a small shape from the centre of a large piece of paper!
Just like my students would do in class. I learned quite quickly Never to give them a whole sheet of any special kind of paper, heck, even construction paper, as they wasted far more than they used. No matter how many times you showed them the sensible way to use the paper it was "nah, I'll cut here and throw the rest away in a crushed up ball."

How did she get the light wire cord in the bottle, all of a sudden it just shows it in the bottle, but both ends of the cord are too big to fit through the small opening of the bottle.
Thread the wire through, then attach the plug? It was probably the type of plug that can be opened. 😊

the hologram plastic can be scored instead of cutting it this way the tape wont be in the way

Why would you make your phone into an old time projector w/ the magnifier instead of just casting it to the TV? Or is this in case you don't have that option?

For the light-in-the-Vodka bottle one... how did they get the power cord through the bottle? o_O Both ends of the cord look way larger than the bottle opening.

@@fireangel3598 Either way the cord still has to go through the neck of the bottle, which is impossible with the power cord shown, Einstein.
The receptacle for those types of pendant light kits are assembled rather than sealed. The base unscrews, the wires are removed, slipped through the opening (the bottle neck, in this instance) then the wires are reattached to the base which is then screwed back together.
