destructing things that'll drop debris too far down to sweep afterwards can be done with some sneaky sneaky. set a build of the same buildings nearby the one you're deconstructing. issue destruct command. when it turns into debris, sweep at priority 0 so they'll catch it mid-air for supplying the nearby build. once they supply it, just cancel the build and sweep like normal :)
7:50 after seeing that your new automation works perfectly, i think that hydro sensor had no purpose anymore, you can control the entire contraction just with the thermo sensor that controlling the door i guess Nathan.
I am here to thank you one more time, for such amazing content. Keep working in ONI! It is amazing. As an idea for episode, how about automate literally everything until only really manual labor is required?
Ethanol is very unstable. Oil will melt a bottle of ethanol and turn it into a gas that cant be vented because it cools too fast. The only thing you can do is mop mop mop until you feel like a fish and transport it to a cooler area ASAP
So confusing of a Petrol boiler. A temp sensor where the magma falls down then two filter sensors for the door. A temp sensor for the door where the oil turns to petroleum. A fluid sensor above the pump in the petrol basin to stop oil coming in together at maybe 100g. A fluid sensor to stop the pump from pumping petrol may be at the top of the pump, if not above 500g. PS: still a decent watch, but still.
Hey man dont take this as an insult, i just want to give u my experience watching this series. I see that u are a very skilled oni player, but when i watched u exploit bugs like filling some place with little liquid so gasses will move somewhere precise, or exploiting how the heat spreading works it just ruined the game for me. I dont want to play a game where there are so many weird quirks, nor i want to do these things. Just wanted to share my oppinion, keep up the good work✌
This is not a bug or exploit, this is a game mechanic. Gases and liquids cannot share a single tile. I avoided practically all exploits in this series. But calling liquid locks in this game and exploit is like calling web shooting in a spiderman game a bug. Not sure what you mean with the heat spread.
@@Nathans-Sandbox u did use the water exploit for the hydrogen generator or sth like that if i remember correctly. And for the heat spreading, i think there were some examples like having a single drywall and putting a little liquid in it (in space i think). Even tho its a game mechanic it looks like exploiting to me, and putting too much science in the game which ruins it.
I get that the line of which mechanics are ok and which aren't is an individual one. I haven't done anything extensively in this playthrough I would call an exploit, except maybe the oxygen generator, but even that is just using the game physics cleverly, plus I limited it to not make an infinite storage. How do you cool down your space equipment if not with a drop of liquid?
ONI is nothing but a whole game of exploits. If you didn't use 1 exploit, you'll not get very far. You are always exploiting game mechanics. One you will use so much you'll want to poke your eyes out is a liquid lock. Without it you will pretty much fail.
Whatever the heck are you talking about? You make me watch the first 4 minutes to check what you meant and all I see is me talking about the game and what I did which is very much on topic for a series about this game.
Love that you said at the beginning "we perfected the petroleum boiler" and then spent half the video fixing issues with it lol! That's Oni for you.
The sad thing about optimizing it is it bottomless hole;)
@@Nathans-Sandbox Just put a temp meter to the door to close when it's cold, the rest of the magma make separate.

lol you're finding out many useful things for this game, thanks for sharing!

I love this series. Thank you so much. But man that's a lot of effort on the boiler. Why not add pumps on the bottom?

Great video Nathan!
Cheers!

Yes more MORE
7:40 😂
😂 That's funny

YOOOO
Hey
Yooooo
Ello
Heh, Nathan you will be featured in my next video for a few seconds!
(Don't ask)
Just some feedback , interesting title but again too misleading.
Check my answer from the previous statement you made on this. I can't possibly name everything in the title that happens in the episode.
Just honest feedback

Just a pointer bro, ur first 4 minutes were off topic, very annoying
