Guys Geno is a Goff level QB, which is plenty good enough with a solid roster around him. Why does Cowherd seem to think 2014 Geno is the Seahawks QB right now?!
Colin needs to watch some more seahawks. There is a reason geno has been selected to 2 pro bowls on top of beating franchise records, all while having one of the worst offensive coordinator in the league.

No, we did not have the worst OC in the league, Waldron wasn't great but I can think of at least 10 worse, Canada and Hackett to name some easy ones.
I disagree with him on the Hawks finishing fourth and missing their window to win with just a "good quarterback." A good quarterback with a great offense around him is capable of putting up 30 points. Geno never had that before because the O-line was so terrible. If they can fix that, everything else is in place for the Hawks to put up great offensive numbers each week. Although the NFL is now an offensive league, defense has always won championships because winter has had a negative effect on all these star quarterbacks.
I feel the same as Colin. I don’t think he is down on the Hawks, there are too many questions to feel good or bad. We’re not going to know until the season starts. Simple as that.
At one moment Colin is high on Kyler and the Cardinals and the next moment is saying that it was time to move off of Carroll. What sort of mental gymnastics to you have to do to think that a better defensive coach(Macdonald) can’t sweep the cardinals just like Carroll did last year?

I think Colin's missing that the two guys responsible for giving Michael Penix Jr. so much time to throw in almost every game without a ton of blue chip talent, is IN Seattle with the Seahawks, not Alabama. Those two aren't unproven by any means, AND they get to practice against a top defensive mind. The Ravens and KC proved Defense matters a lot still. Ravens limited multiple above average QBs last season Goff, Mahomes, Stroud, Burrow, Geno, Tua, Purdy, and Herbert. That's a very impressive list, and that DC is our coach now. Defense keeps you in games and takes the pressure off the offense. Chiefs aren't even a playoff team without that defense. Seattle will be a better coached team and it will push them to double digit wins. That's my bold prediction. I'm not saying Super Bowl winners, but if Geno or Howell put a good season together, the division's not out of reach. I believe the title contender window starts next year, with Rams getting really old at QB and the 49ers are about to bleed talent with the salary cap next year. Packers and Lions will be the top dogs in the NFC in 2025 but the 3rd best will be wide open, and I see Seattle having a great shot to be that team.
Superbowl 48 ......colin predicted the broncos would 'run away ' and win the game ! He also said that he can't see Russell hoisting the Lombardi ! Let's not forget Steven and Skip , the other two hawk hatters prediction as well ! There's no point in predicting the future of anything so just stick to talking about the games after they've been played !
