@@magmaspacer1967 Personally it probably is a little bit overdone, but, one of the reasons I appreciate it is just because it doesn't allow the viewer to miss details and when it comes to shounen anime sometimes fans are really dumb or willfully ignoring the story elements and only considering the action important and a metric for if the show is good or bad. That choice of narration is almost like being adamant about not letting the story get misinterpreted by viewers
@@magortom The issue with that is that breaks the rule of show not tell. It also assumes the audience is absolutely stupid and insults your intelligence. A lot of stuff actually said isn’t even that important or is blatantly obvious. If it was spread out more I wouldn’t have an issue, but when have the episode feels like narration I get annoyed. This is one of the primary reasons I don’t like this arc
@@magmaspacer1967 Understandable but the narration works here imo because there isn't that much dialogue during the invasion. Instead of making us listen to the characters each and every thought or have them explain their actions in their mind, or have us the viewer try and figure out every action taken, the narrator does it for us in a sort of concise way.

This fight occurs in D&D time and it is so good for it. Initiative has been rolled, Netero got his surprise round in, and everyone else successfully made it into the palace without immediately dying. Turn 1 beings.

The events are paced like DBZ, but the narration is so detailed I don't even mind. It's so well written, all the details that are normally left unsaid. Best arc in HxH by far.

This neither makes any sense(it's not like Netero just teleported her away) nor is it true, Netero simply isn't able to damage Pitou with just one hit.
@@pokemontobias9721 This is absolutely not how that works, if my goal is to send something flying away as far as possible by straight up hitting it(Netero neither teleported nor grabbed and threw Pitou there) i need as much force as possible, which obviously also causes as much damage as possible. Also Spoiler:
The idea that Netero could damage Pitou with a single hit(not Zero Hand) is utterly ridiculous either way, it took literally thousands of hits just to make Meruem feel the dullest sense of pain(which wouldn't even count as noticeably damage) and Meruem is definitely not literally thousands to tenthousands of times more durable than Pitou.

The funny thing is that the entire episode just covered 2 minutes in real time. And, you are hooked the entire time.

Now you know Ishinobi why Netero is considered a god of nen in this anime and yet there are others who are beyond him along with even Zeno( killua's grandfather) admitting that he's leagues stronger than him. The two dragons both light and dark were arriving to which I did say that you were not going to be ready for so your reaction was as priceless as i was expecting it. Also the dark foreshadowing was hinted again from this episode so don't go forgetting your big mistake from a certain quote you said from various episodes ago Ishinobi so you better prepare for that quote to be repeated before the "dark one" or "the monster" is coming which will arrive quite soon and comments you know what it is.
