HAVANA CAL - Introduction & Color Technique

- A short introduction video for the HAVANA CAL, where I tell you a little bit about the mosaic crochet technique we use in this project and also how to work the double fade technique for your color work. I use his color technique in my original Havana Afghan and it is especially useful for those of you planning on using your stash and scraps in this project. The Havana CAL will start on October 1st and the pattern will be available for free in my Ravelry store during the CAL - or until December 1st 2018.

I just started with light grey and citron stylecraft special dk yarn. I love your border stitch! I finally have straight edges in my apache tears! Love it. I will be using my stash / scraps from my temperature blanket. Lots of colors against grey and white background i now think.

Hi!!! This is the first time that I have the chance to see you channel. It's amazing! I've never seen such a beautiful work of art. It's hard to think that it's a crochet pattern. Thank you so much for your support ❤️ I don’t really have a favourite brand of yarn but always prefer working with natural fibers and mostly use wool. I’m actually starting working on a podcast show now (plan on releasing the first one in June!) Where I will tell you guys a bit about myself and show Iceland and Icelandic textile culture ❤️ so stay tuned ‼️😘

Tinna, I am the biggest fan of your mosaic crochet lessons. I would love to know what the camera setup is to video your hands. I teach for an online school and I want to teach children how to knit. I need them to see my hands. Can you help me??
I use a go pro camera with a little tripod. Or my iPhone which a stabelizer ❤️

When you finish crochet then use washing it by hands although I am worried about the colour wool come off and touch to another different colour which was spoiled colour. How can I prevent spoil colour during the washing and I want staying colour on each different colour rows as seem look beautiful colour. Do you understand what I mean? Thank you. 🥰❤️👍

After how many rows do you change the color? Do you change color A and B at the same time?
Usually do around 3 rows in each color and try not to change both at the same time.
