Hi Kate, I'm a new follower and have been binging your videos over the last couple weeks and am obsessed with your style, your elegance and your kindness. You just seem like that kind of friend that everybody needs in their life. I totally understand your thoughts on the pressure part of doing UA-cam. We (on the other side of the screen) tend to forget how stressful filming, editing etc. can be. In the end it's all about how you feel and if it feels comfortable and manageable for you!! And don't feel like you have to do something exciting to film, I feel like the best videos are the ones where you just hang around at home, organising or talking about your apartment, beauty favourites etc. And also, will you keep updating your webiste? I love all the effort you put into creating fall wishlists, shop the look, beauty favs etc with links. I always send them to my boyfriend for gift ideas

Can I also just say, these people that are complaining or judging (if they are) about you or any UA-camr not uploading as much, they are also not in your shoes, they do not know how difficult it is to juggle, I did media studies in college, and the time it takes to edit sometimes is difficult, as someone who wants to do UA-cam but hasn’t really it also takes courage to do and to start.
Please don’t ever feel bad for taking a break or not uploading Kate, we do miss them but a lot of us understand it’s not always easy to do x
I think true creativity doesn’t come scheduled in. So it takes a balance to make it work professionally and inspiring from deep within at the same time. What I’d say is: this is your platform at the end of the day so make you own rules to what creates the best content possible. Perhaps some weeks you’ll stick to a weekly schedule naturally, some you won’t. And that’s fine. Because you’re amazing regardless ❤

The Ugg portion made me laugh, it was going through my mind before you mentioned it. Like will Kate be wearing Uggs, they're sorta basic & ugly so maybe not. But they seem comfortable & practical lol Literally right before you showed them. When you say Crep protect, do you use this brand in particular? Or could you provide a link to what you use to protect your shoes in general?

Yes to a giveaway both on UA-cam and Instagram. UA-cam is more work but it is more rewarding we actually know you as a person on UA-cam not just your clothes and makeup on Instagram. Congratulations on one million subs!!!
We are going to the UK this fall and I just got a new striped sweater and I know it’s easy to style but when you put it with the faux leather pants I knew immediately I was going to wear that outfit in either Edinburg or Manchester. Lol Perfect! Thanks so much for the inspo! ❤❤
Kate the fact there are few people that send you nasty messages for not uploading is absurd. This is your hobby that turned into a job, you owe absolutely nobody an explanation if you don’t want and you can upload whenever you want! Also comparison is truly a thief of joy, you are you and bring so much by being yourself never forget that! With that being said I love your videos and they are comforting, whenever you upload I just get so excited❤ keep being you Kate you’re a gem!

It is by no means about music (he's a legendary music producer) but think it's worthwhile for everyone to read or listen to via audiobook.

I find uploading weekly hard too, I can only manage every other week at the moment unfortunately. But I do suggest you outsource if you can. It might be trial and error at first, but I think you need to at this stage in your career!

Welcome back. I really missed your videos. I personally would like to see you twice a week, but I understand all the work you put into these videos and it can be daunting. Have you thought of maybe hiring someone to edit your videos. This would give you more time for yourself. Anyway, I love to watch you and look forward every week to your videos. There are shopping addicts who use influencers to fuel their addictions. So bear in mind that their motivation is not healthy. Do try to ignore them. There was a French influencer, who did a good video about not listening to the critics who want more fast fashion and constant newness.
Also, some of the content creators have a team behind them that no one sees. Far better you use your income to fund a home etc. When you are ready to pay for video editors etc., you will know when the time is right. But you shouldn't get into stress to feed other people's addictions. They should be working and getting out in the fresh air:)

Yes Kate do a relax schedule like if this was a normal job it would be like a project due every week and that’s just too much do what’s best for you!
I think A normal job would have a team! Which I can of course do but right now I don’t want an editor as it’s a job I like control of 🙈 And normal working hours too, which aren’t possible right now with the rest of my work 🤍
You could consider hiring someone to edit your videos or help you film. I much prefer UA-cam to any other platform I know it is more work but it is much more rewarding that short form content

You answered your own question here. You wonder how other creators manage to upload consistent content then said how it takes you 2 days to edit videos and attach links. Other creators pay someone to do this. The cost of one of your Channel bags could pay someone to edit your videos for 6 months. If you want to progress with your career, you need to invest in it. A new pair of shoes will give you 2 minutes of content, unboxing it. But paying a member of staff to help with your work load will free up 2 days a week of your time, which is priceless.
