Hello Athey Creek - I’m here in Venice Florida just wanting to let you know I look forward to this inspiring message every day. I’m 75 yrs old and ride my bike every day and listen to your messages while riding. God is good all the time. Again I say thanks for your word of GOD messages.
Thank you pastor Brett for this great reminder That GOD died for me before the foundation of the world. Sometimes we just too comfortable in our relationship with Yeshua and we forget That GOD is a mighty GOD and to be honored, respected, worshiped and feared. But praise GOD for his mercy and grace and HIS SON!.
Beautiful worship, thank you Lord for us having the privlage to worship you! With such gifted brother’s and sister’s in Christ. Amen You are so Holy Jesus
I absolutely love this CHURCH and Pastor Brett!! Thank you for these messages of HOPE that our sins are forgiven in Christ Jesus OUR LORD! I can't wait to receive that pure clean white robe of rightlessness on that DAY when Jesus says, COME UP HERE and I/WE are FOREVER CHANGED, in a twinkling of an eye! In the meantime, I am TRUSTING on JESUS to advocate on my behalf because I am a miserable, filthy sinner and FALL so so so very short of GODS perfect RIGHTOUSNESS! God Bless you all and may the LORD RICHLY BLESS you all today and in the days to come. May HE come soon, I am weary and worn out BUT GOD and HIS precious SON, JESUS who gives me strength to PERSEVER!! AMEN and MARANATHA! See you soon up in the clouds of HIS GREAT GLORY!! What a blessing that will be, how awesome that will be. OUR STRUGGLES against sin and the devil will be forever OVER!! It can't be much longer as we SEE the DAY APPROACH! PRAISE GOD for HIS LOVE and MERCY!!
Hello from Houston, TX - to Athey Creekers in Oregon and all over the world. We are so blessed by these teachings. Praise the Lord for this faithful and knowledgeable man. And for all of the staff that participate and coordinate. Good stuff! ❤️
The worship team is really awesome, to the point that I keep several videos in my save to watch later so I can listen to my faves in my car… Aug 15 is a really good one and so is Sept 19 💕
WOW!!!! Your worship team is phenomenal! The lead singer is a very gifted vocalist and he reminds me of the lead singer of the group "Third Day", and everyone altogether is impressively proficient...totally enjoyed listening to, watching, and singing along with them!
There was a moment when Moses had the nerve to ask God what his name is. God was gracious enough to answer, and the name he gave is recorded in the original Hebrew as YHWH. Over time we’ve arbitrarily added an “a” and an “e” in there to get YaHWeH, presumably because we have a preference for vowels. But scholars and rabis have noted that the letters YHWH represent breathing sounds, or aspirated consonants. When pronounced without intervening vowels, it actually sounds like breathing. YH (inhale): WH (exhale). So a baby’s first cry, his first breath, speaks the name of God. A deep sigh calls His name - or a groan or gasp that is too heavy for mere words. Even an atheist would speak His name unaware that their very breathe is giving constant acknowledgment to God. Likewise, a person leaves this earth with their last breath, when God’s name is no longer filing their lungs. So when I can’t utter anything else, is my cry calling out His name? Being alive means I speak His name constantly. Is it heard the loudest when I’m the quietest? In sadness, we breathe heavy sighs. In joy, our lungs feel almost like they will burst. In fear we hold our breath and have to be told to breathe slowly to help us calm down. When we’re about to do something hard, we take a deep breath to find our courage. When I think about it, breathing is giving him praise. Even in the hardest moments! This is so beautiful and fills me with emotion every time I grasp the thought. God chose to give himself a name that we can’t help but speak every moment we’re alive. All of us, always, everywhere. Waking, sleeping, breathing, with the name of God on our lips.
There's a vague Jewish tradition of a rope tied to the High Priest before he entered the Holy of Holies, because if he died in there nobody else could enter to retrieve him. Although there's not much historical evidence for it, it makes sense as otherwise the body would stay in there until the next Day of Atonement, a year later, and of course, the next High Priest would then be 'unclean' for touching the dead body trying to remove him.
Minute 50, Pastor Brett mentions the word for 'unclean thing' is too gross to talk about in Isaiah 64:6 Here's the translation of the Hebrew word 'iddah', which means “the bodily fluids from a woman’s menstrual cycle.”
There is already a consensus among credible scholars that Jehovah is an improper pronunciation. Gods name should be pronounced more closely to Yahweh. Jehovah is only the result of overlaying the vowel points of Adonai over YHWH, pronounced with a less developed understanding of the Hebrew consonants. "Yahweh is the name of the official god of Israel, both in the northern kingdom and in Judah. Since the Achaemenid period, religious scruples led to the custom of not pronoucing the name of Yahweh; in the liturgy as well as in everyday life, such expressions as ‘the →Lord’ (ʾădōnāy, lit. ‘my Lord’, LXX κύριος) or ‘the →Name’ were substituted for it. As a matter of consequence, the correct pronunciation of the tetragrammaton was gradually lost: the Masoretic form ‘Jehovah’ is in reality a combination of the consonants of the tetragrammaton with the vocals of ʾădōnāy, the ḥaṭēf pataḥ of ʾădōnāy becoming a mere shewa because of the yodh of yhwh (ALFRINK 1948). The transcription ‘Yahweh’ is a scholarly convention, based on such Greek transcriptions as Ιαουε/ Ιαουαι (Clement of Alexandria, Stromata 5, 6, 34, 5), Ιαβε/ Ιαβαι (Epiphanius of Salamis, Adv. Haer. 1, 3, 40, 5 and Theodoretus of Cyrrhus, Quaest. in Ex. XV; Haer. fab. comp. 5, 3)." K. van der Toorn, “Yahweh,” ed. Bob Becking and Pieter W. van der Horst, Dictionary of Deities and Demons in the Bible (Leiden; Boston; Köln; Grand Rapids, MI; Cambridge: Brill; Eerdmans, 1999), 910.
I called out to " God" and he came and saved me out of the drowning waters and finally to "Jesus" for help and repentance There was no misunderstanding. Even Yahweh , some say it is not exact for "e" was not in the hebrew alphabet so on and so on " we could go on for hours looking at scholars..... God bless he sent Jesus. amen
@@mario.migneault I hadn't heard an argument from the absence of 'E' idea before. What is the assumption that tsere and segol are in that perspective? Obviously Yahweh can be called many other variations of yah-- and any Hebrew case ending yahu most notably(Matisyahu, Matthew).. or even changing the first vowel. The point is that Jehovah is verifiably false, and we have plenty of evidence towards a fairly uniform way of pronouncing gods name.
@@Isaaaaac I have put to the test a few Jehovah Witness and they can not answer. Thanks fo your input and God bless you. I have decided to stop listening to Pastor Brett, my eyes are hurting to see a man lusting so much. One of the fruits of the Spirit is self control, which is evidently absent !
What a precious teaching ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
