Hey Brad, I’m a surfer, sorta, being 70 has slowed me down a bit. I enjoy UA-cam & hardly look at Facebook accept to advertise my Open Houses. Keep it up, always looking for your films!
I just spoke to someone who knows about social media accounts, and he said that kind of thing happens all the time, even to accounts with very large followings. It sucks. Too many users and not enough employees to respond, plus lack of care because the companies are big and aren't losing anything by banning accounts that have been flagged. You have to open another account and start over.
Hi Brad, Sorry the AI idiots had pulled this on you. I’m 64 and still surf even with a prosthetic leg. Keep up the good work brother. How are you feeling since your surgery? Hope to see you in San Diego (Pt Loma/OB) sometime?
Thanks! Stoked to hear you're still getting out there with the prosthetic. My recovery is going better than expected so I'm stoked. Yes, hopefully I'll be down in SD soon.
Sorry, Brad. Meta is trash. What's the formula for making money on your UA-cam videos? Is this format a decent source of income? I'm contemplating a new channel. Just wondering.
Thanks! UA-cam is basically per view. There are more options but that is my main source. I also have a separate channel (daily dose of surfing). It's tough starting a new channel but it's doing well. Not earning much but it's growing.
wow. i'm sorry but this is so sad that you can make so much money filming surfing. I really don't mean to diminish what you do it's just that....i mean really thats just silly and it kind of makes me sad. There are so many people working so hard and contributing so much to society and even more so and are just downright poor yet you're making 1k a day, 7 k a week, 350 k a year for surfing videos. Again i think its great to make money doing this but it's just not right. Society is so skewed. i just can't comprehend it anymore
Love to see the hard work you put in. And great clips and stories! Keep up the great work

Appreciate the support, glad you're still out there ripping!

Sorry that happened, Brad! Love your content.
Thanks!
This is quite a story!
Thanks!
I'm adding this to my ensh*tification file. Another example. I'm sorry this happened.

could it be they want your content exclusively for facebook only
I see $5-20 a day and $1000 once, not $1000 a day

also, if Meta dings you on Facebook, isn't Instagram next?
Instagram's monetization has been horrible for the last few months. Losing it, for me, wouldn't mean much sadly. Same with Tim Tok.
