No! Technically only once by Dennis when he and Dee thought he was the guy robbing the bar. Twice if you count when he got shot when the gang turned black! I don't since it was all a dream in old black man's head.
It’s funny that Charlie is more afraid of death then to actually question the logic behind the “everything in 3s.” It’s always monkey see monkey do in their gang.

I really love that this scene manages to be both funny and genuinely tasteful. I feel like most older sitcoms would’ve just had OCD be the punchline and that’d be it.
They really have such good attention to detail. There is another scene where they’re in a hallway in her house and there is a collage frame with pictures of young Charlie too. Rob also holds up a real school picture of himself in the molestation episode, and don’t forget those beautiful pics of Glennis they used in the Making A Murderer episode 😂

@@Rubiecat I know this was a year ago but I'm cracking up over him dropping 101 like its so simple than proceeding to give a completely inaccurate description of the illness. lmfao
@@supersizesenpai I know you left this comment almost a year ago, but here is what you've been looking for since then- OCD 101. This is the most accurate portrayal of OCD in any TV show I know. OCD is an anxiety disorder composed of intrusive and obsessive thoughts (in this episode, the Charlie's mom's intrusive thought that Charlie might die), the "O," followed by obsessive compulsions (in this case, Charlie's mom's compulsion to "do everything in 3s") to get rid of the intrusive thought, the "C" in "OCD," Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Counting as a compulsion, or as part of a compulsion is generally very common among people with OCD. The occurrence of intrusive thoughts, the level and intensity of the anxiety and distress caused by these intrusive thoughts, and the compulsions one is required to perform all cause and compound anxiety. No, it's not "batshit crazy." It's daily life some some, and like any disorder, no one asks or wishes to have it. It's a daily struggle with anxiety. Oftentimes patients report most stress and anxiety when their anxious thoughts (intrusive thoughts) require interpersonal interactions, such as asking for verbal reassurance or the request for verbal repetitions from others. This is a symptom also shared with social anxiety (SA), which frequently accompanies or is accompanied by OCD, and is another anxiety disorder. So no, being overly neat or overly possessive, or being a germophobe are not the same thing as OCD at all, although germophobia and obsessions with contamination are frequent obsessions and compulsions in OCD.
