Doing a normal jump then iad H or EJL. then if you block the strings he can use a empty vanish then with assist, put you in a guess again. Him switching to this team was the best choice. His pressure is the best, his mixups are extremely hard to see and faster than ant other character, arguably now the best assist in the game better than vegeta, and has one of the best level 1 in the game

They actually met in Grand Finals of Final Round 2018 where GO1 beat SonicFox twice (GO1 was sent to losers by Dogura). This means in terms of sets, GO1 is 3-2 over SonicFox, but that can definitely change soon with this new team.
I literally have not seen Go1 drop a set since Final Round against SonicFox, until Winners Finals & Grand Finals of this tournament. Props to Go1 for not being a sore loser either; he has my respect as an awesome player & an awesome sport. That being said, I was goin for SonicFox the whole time. Feels good.

Sonic has 3 EVO championships(more if you count side tournaments), is the winningiest player in FGC history in total tournaments over his career, and also by far the highest earning fighting game player of all time. We aren’t just talking about one game here(dbfz). This is more impressive that hes accomplished this all by the age of 20 and hasnt been around nearly as long as GO1(30-31 years old?) And even so they are 1-1 in tournament. This being the biggest strongest tourney yet

You can tell that Sonic put this team together specifically for GO1. Gotenks and Kid Buu are short enough to not have to deal with AGohan's or Bardock's corner bullshit, and Cell/Gotenks is just the sickest offensive pressure possible.

Actually it looks like he reacted to the deflect and did super because most Kid Buu players that deflect will immediately 2M. It was a next level move by GO1, but it didn't work out.

We aren’t just talking about one game here(dbfz). This is more impressive that hes accomplished this all by the age of 20 and hasnt been around nearly as long as GO1(30-31 years old?) And even so they are 1-1 in tournament. This being the biggest strongest tourney yet

amazing job from sonicfox, amazing gameplay, still i find more skilled GO1 in terms of combo, but sonicfox was excelent at managing the situation and play the mind games, he totally deserves the win.
i' not gonna lie this fight was just amazing, multiple times i was emotionally moved by how amazing the commentary and the matches were.

You can tell that Sonic put this team together specifically for GO1. Gotenks and Kid Buu are short enough to not have to deal with AGohan's or Bardock's corner bullshit, and Cell/Gotenks is just the sickest offensive pressure possible.

The last opening of SonicFox is exactly the same as the one GO1 did to win the grand finals at Final Round. Instant jump 2L with Cell. In the right corner too.
29:46 is actually quite genius by Sonicfox, but the commentators (and the stream monsters) were saying it was a mistake. Actually it looks like he reacted to the deflect and did super because most Kid Buu players that deflect will immediately 2M. It was a next level move by GO1, but it didn't work out.
