@@brodiewilson4179 Same here - we are able to change the language in the settings-menu, of course. But you cant chose between common language settings and theme language. Even more you will not be forwarded to this setup-menu, we all can see in the clip. What shop-plan do you use? Maybe shopify changed something, maybe this is not available for different regions, we are located outside of the US and our native language is not english. Kind regards, Daniel
Under my "express checkout page" clients only have the option to type in their basic information but no type of credit card info. as soon as they click " continue Shopping" it redirects them to PayPal payment option. I changed the "Or" text to " PAY WITH CREDIT CARD" but it still gives them only PayPal option.. can someone help please?
Update: 2023 shopify update - you can find this not in settings but insteat next to the "customize" button click the 3 Dots. Then choose "edit default theme content"

Yea. I’m glad this issue was addressed. The confusion around the express checkout method could result in a loss of sales. I’ve had many people ask why that was the only payment method. Very unintuitive on shopifys part.
Great video I made these adjustments - I really like this because they are small tweaks that go unnoticed but can do a lot for customer conversion. I haven't seen anyone else cover this topic either so well done. I did have to do these adjustments slightly differently - themes>customise>edit language. I wonder if you could do a video covering Shopify default email template. When there's an order on my store the customers gets the email confirmation but the email look very bog standard. I've been able to enhance them slightly - Settings>notifications>customise and add a logo/accent colour but it would be great to add a footer etc for that professional wow factor. Thanks!

The text "Pay with credit card" doesn't do nothing, its not a code, it's sole purpose is to show customers that you accept credit card, for them to actually pay with their credit cards you would have to set up third party gateways that would allow customers to use their credit cards

wow, I noticed this just today making other changes, and was mortified.... then looked on UA-cam how to change my checkout page, and here is someone switched on to that its an issue. Thanks BitBranding. I suspect that ShoPify made this sneaky change to trick people into signing up for their Payments processor "SHOP". If you try and remove all those things, including Paypal, then Paypal isnt an option in the payments part either. So you are trapped. Everyone should complain to have this changed, as it is unacceptable. and can affect your customer coversions.
This is literally how you ruin your conversions... We tested all that 4 things on our store for a week with 600 orders done in that wee and Conversion rate was lower 1.3% than our regular week. The summary -- never trust people doing branding if they give advices on ecommerce conversion
Hmm, so you made your entire decision based off of a 7 day period? I hope it wasn't a holiday, or sales period, or bad traffic with FB ads or Google. Did you review the people who added to cart and didn't purchase? Making a blanket statement on the internet is fine, but don't mislead people into thinking that just because you had several transactions that it couldn't be blip in the radar.
