Man, I am broken!!! I am at the home stretch of what has been hell for the past 18 months. I have slowed everything down in my life to cling to Christ throughout this time. I walked away for 8 years until He blew my world up and declared His throne back. That was 18 months ago. He absolutely tore everything down and I couldn't do a thing about it it...I simply was like a little boy looking at a Father run rancid in his bedroom in anger and love. All I could do is watch and surrender. Peace flooded my life when I did. This is the first morning I am using this song in my prayer time and I am weeping with freedom ans victory for He is sovereign and His promises are being fulfilled. I am broken by His love. Why Lord???? How do you still love me??? COME ON!!!! Somebody going through something right now I tell you, "cling to Him"....do not fight against him... HE LOVES YOU!!!

My wife wanted this song played at her funeral. Even in the throws of cancer, she still found the evidence of God’s goodness in her life.
How beautiful and what a testament that even through such a tough moment she still saw and found the evidence of God's goodness in her life. My sincerest condolences to you Tyson and your loved ones. May God be with you and your family through this trying time and give you His peace and strength. May you still see the evidence of His goodness even now.
Several years ago after Josh wrote this song, I knew the Holy Spirit had given him a sound and words that would resonate within many hearts, including mine. Josh has written songs that have gotten more radio and worship air time, but none identifies with the mundane, victories, or difficulties of life like “Evidence.” Whether it’s daily living or the bearing of a cross, if you will but slow down, ‘be with Him’ and look, you can always find the evidence of His goodness in your life… This song, along with his more recent, “Where the Glory is,” are my favorites. - dad
That's my life right there. The evidence of God's love, forgiveness, restoration and presence in all seasons and circumstances of my life is present all over. Thank you Jesus.
How far I have strayed... But I would be a fool to say I can't see his evidence all over my life. Poor and rough upbringing but God has continually brought me earthly blessings...to the point I don't even care about those most of the time, I just want his grace and forgiveness.

I just had my new baby girl yesterday . I’ve been seeing this song over her since we found my wife was pregnant. The line “when I look at my kids, I see you goodness, I see your kindness.” Hits me so much differently now. Thank you Jesus!

I can't say enough about how we have been blessed with this song at our church. Leading with it, seeing students praising, voices together, is amazing. This is truly inspired. Originally I felt it was about the evidence of God's love for us and his faithfulness. Now I see it is also a testament to how others can see evidence of His work in our lives, and how Jesus' love makes us a new creation.

When I lost both of my parents a few years ago.
This was the only song that kept me, from jumping into their graves.
I miss both of my parents every day.
My mom died from Uterine Cancer (October-2012)
My dad had a massive stroke (June-2014)
My parents both met in the 9th grade, and they got married after my dad came home from Vietnam War in 1968.
My oldest son dad died in Christmas 2007
My grandmom died May 2020
My family pet died June 2020
My oldest brother died August 27, 2020 (shot and killed in front his baby at 7-Eleven store)
In loving memory of my mother & father and my older brother.

This song brought to mind so many blessings and even hurts that later I can see as blessings. I have lived so much in my almost 39 years, more than the average person and I see in hindsight how very blessed I have been. Not because I haven't endured tragedy, pain and loss but because during those extreme times of my life I was not alone. He was with me through all of it and has brought me through it. My infant son I will hold again one day, my best friend who was murdered is right on the other side of the veil and I will see him again, my beloved grandfather is no longer riddled with excruciating cancer and one day I will be in his arms again. Being a child of God doesn't give us a ticket to no pain in this life, He promises to be with us through it and one day we will be reunited with those pain and tragedy has ripped away. I see the evidence of Him throughout all my life, I wouldn't be typing this message if He hadn't been with me so many many times. He has spared me and protected me so many times, so many times without Him I wouldn't have survived. As you listen to this song let your mind bring back the good and painful moments and you will truly experience a gratitude moment with the Holy Spirit.
