Carolina Beach Days with Mr. Crabs

What's it like living in Carolina Beach, which sits on the edge of the earth in America's east coast. Wilmington, NC is surrounded by 4 unique beaches: Wrightsville, Carolina, Kure & Fort Fischer. Today we saw so many soft shell, tiny crabs on Fort Fisher Beach. We have no idea how they got there & why they were washing up ashore. Many people were capturing them and putting the crabs in their buckets, THAT'S STRANGE! Does anyone know why they would do that?
