suffering like this man has can only do two things: make u a psychopath consumed with revenge, or a saint!! im ashamed to complain about anything anymore!!!
I agree, my teacher is having me read this book for my discipleship program. It has changed my perspective on life. It's hard to converse with others who don't really understand the depths of what I read. Or understand that people are suffering persecution right now as we sit here so comfortably. This book deff helps you look at your life in a greater way, because we have so much compared to others.
im half way through this book and it has already made me think about my life, and my relationship with God.. this is so far the best book i have read.. well i have half read so far :)
I am humbled by this man. I wish to learn from Him and his experience. It shows me what I go through as a christian in my life is nothing compared to what Richard and the others like him and ones he wrote about went through and have Christlike forgiving attitude God bless them all in Jesus name, Amen!
Thought to ponder: If you were stripped of everything, including your name, and placed in solitary confinement for three years, how do you think it would change you? What do you think would happen to your priorities? Would you come out of solitary the same person that you were when you went in? What is it really like to be so emptied of yourself, so wholly surrendered, that you can only say, "Jesus, I love you"? What is it like then when God fills you completely with Himself?
Yes, it's very sad that there so few people who are more than willing to suffer for Jesus. But we can rely on God's strength to help us on press on, no matter what, if we just believe. I love Jesus and I want to preach His Word so that others will have the opportunity to receive the free gift that Jesus has already brought us through His sacrifice and His undying grace. God keep you friend.
Ill be honest im not strong enough to do what this man did. I only pray every day that God would strengthen my faith in make me more courageous and make me a stronger Christian. I pray i can get to the point through Gods grace where i could boldy stand up and say with full faith and confidence that id die for Jesus
Video's of people doing stupid things like jumping off of buildings = 100's of thousands of views. Video's of a man who shows us what it is REALLY like to live for God = a few thousand views. :::::::::shakes head sadly:::::::::::
We don't suffer because God intended it. No, the devil is responsible for our suffering but only if we let him. The Lord Jesus our God, is the bringer of all good things. All things are possible if you just believe and God loves doing the impossible. We, the followers of Jesus don't ask for suffering but we must expect it because this is a fallen world, ruled in darkness, but whatever the worlds throws at us is nothing we can't handle. We Jesus Freaks don't die so easily.

I'm currently reading "Tortured for Christ" by Richard Wurmbrand and I have to say it is very inspirational and powerful. God bless you, sir.
