Nice way to see how any bosses have changed, and quite a few changes are actually looking really good, from storm weaver being engaging, ceaseless having a more structured setup, DoG not being hell, Donuts not being somehow worse than Yharon, etc.
i love this mod, i dont care what people think, i dont care how unbalanced it is (i dont even know that for sure), its just a blast to play, and it keeps getting updates.

I think they should change it from post yharon, where its outclassed by most other swords, to either post providence and add more swords to the recipe or post DoG to be used against yharon (craft with cosmolite bars, ascended spirt essence could also work) Edit: I have another idea. So zenith I supposed to be a culmination of your entire playthrough right? Why not lean into that even further and make it a super strong endgame weapon, requiring even more swords, shardowspec bars and miracle matter.

You can add in calamity weapons to Zenith, so instead of the standard vanilla swords, Zenith now also shoots in Calamity swords, of course the attack speed increases with more swords

Took more than 20 sec to kill the brimstone hearts in SCAL, im gonna stick to Murasama, plus calamity made it so it requires 5 Auric bars to craft zenith.
Honestly, for the Brimstone hearts I use Dragons Rage (Yharon Drop) and I belive it works better than Murasama (though that's what I think and my opinion).
@@Fate2521 dragon rage is only useful for sepulcher 1, murasama has a bit more range letting it reach the brimstone hearts more safely against sepulcher 2 with all the brimstone monsters flying around

@@bromex_ It was mostly because you just point and clicked at the bosses and didn't really go for weak spots and also kept swinging even when the bosses at times had a bunch of damage reduction or were just straight up invincible
Just a question was this done on normal mode or something you were taking like 0 dmg plus no adrenalin or rage(even with auric telsa some of the bosses should of done way more like dogs head only did 2 hearts)
@@olixx1213 well it’s a melee wepon which melee isn’t hurting for wepons to beat the brimstone hearts but it can hit all at once so it does a lot of dmg and on scal itself it did decent damge when I fought her with zenith but there probably is something better it dosent suck tho it does decent enough dmg for me most of scal fight was still her invisibility frames and brothers Also against the exo mechs it can hit the skeleton one 2 times by hitting both arms doing doble damge being pretty good at it
Could you go into detail on the exact setup you used for the demonstration? Just want to know if this is an all rounder setup, and if this is just the lower end of what the Zenith is capable of.
Don't quote me on this but it looks like Auric Tesla Armour, celestial tracers, maybe an elemental gauntlet, a reaper necklace for extra peneteation, maybe a warrior emblem for the 15%, other than that I'm not totally sure though Edit: I have been corrected by somebody
He already uses a different mod to get like 90% damage reduction. He gets like 20 damage from SCal, which two shots you with any attack! He doesn't even know how to fight Storm Weaver and DoG...
So, is the Zenith a strong weapon? idk nothing about calamity other than it has strong bosses and op stuff i want to know how good of a weapon is comparated to the other ones in the mod

All in all the Zenith is still pretty op... early game, then once you get to the pre moonlord bosses then things start getting interesting. Firs off I think the most noticeable challenge is stormweaver, you think as a worm boss with multiple segments for the Zenith to pierce through that it would be easy as pie right? Wrong, the boss either has high defense or extremely high hp. DoG is obviously going to be a tough one, but why does it seem like the sword had an equal time to shred through DoG as stormweaver? The exo mechs actually seem to be mildly... mild, not too tanky but also not soft as a marshmallow, but seeing as they are 3 separate bosses this would make sense. What really surprised me was the supreme Calamitis fight, as she is the (current) final boss you’d think that she would be tanking through every hit right? Well it seems like the Zenith actually was doing not half bad damage, it was when you have to destroy the orbs that things get hard as the death worm spawns in and blocks the Zenith like a wall! Then the orbs themselves take a ridiculous amount of time to cut through... especially with death wall worm blocking everything. But in the end it seems like the Zenith still lives up to its name👍
storm weaver's first phase only have it's tail vulnerable. Though the boss does have a huge Damage Resistance. it's first phase is just aim for the tail instead of it's whole body.
If and when Calamity gets ported to 1.4 they'll likely change the recipe to take the final tier of each sword, for example, The horseman's blade would be replace with something like the last mourning, or whatever that one uograde for the terra blade is. ( the final one)
welp Zenith is op when i was fighting Exo i dropped accidentlly my Ark of cosmos and when i Haven no choice i used my Zenith and i dealed a great dmg with the three boss -CONCLUSION he should be a Endgame weapon, he is littery broken.
@@alphacj And that's probably just to change when you can acquire it. They're probably gunna add/change some of the swords used in its recipe. Think so because the recipe using pre-moonlord weapons + a post Yharon bar is quite silly when you look at it lol

Calamity changed Zenith to be be Calamity endgame-tier weapon instead of just post-Moonlord. It requires 5 Auric bars.

did, did the cryogen drop you the ice biome key? im not much into calamity so i dunno if that was luck or just a drop
Yes it's a drop from cryogen. The ice biome key will be used for crafting weapons so it's better to have it has a drop
Same as Wall of Flesh often drops the opposite world evil's key and Astrum Aureus often drops hallowed key. They have it in their drops
