Damn the secrets now out! We’ve been going there for years with a crew of people 4 wheeling fishing and just generally kicking back! Claire has done a great job getting it up and running again after the original owner Stan passed away! Mate he was a character to say the least
Thanks Leanne, have been travelling with this set up for a couple of years now. Have to be mindful that we have the boat on top when we are travelling.
Sue & Deryck, Thanks, another great video. I agree that SA has a lot to offer free camping caravanners. Its my favorite state. There's something I want you make you aware of regarding your caravan. You may already know this, however, I'll mention it anyway. The outer glass door is susceptible to breaking unexpectedly. We have a Zone Base 20.6 and we lost our door on the Great Central Road out near Warakurna (Giles). It did not fly open, it just shattered somewhere along that stretch of road. The four tabs that lock the glass to the main door were still in place. We drove the Gibb River Road and the Plenty Highway with a good temporary fix that I made. I have heard other reports of this happening. We have since replaced the outer door with the aluminum version which has a glass window in the top. It doesn't look anywhere near as good as the glass one but I prefer this to possibly losing it again. It cost us $180 above the warranted glass replacement. happy and safe travels
Thanksnso much for the message. We really appreciate the advice. Yes I can see how glass could shatter on corrugations. Thanks so much for thinking of us. Hope you have an amazing week ahead 😊
😂 I love it, Bobby got a well needed bath at the same time! SA weather has been superb the last 2 weeks, have certainly missed the beautiful beaches in SA. Hope you are well!
Yet another great video people, that camp looks sensational...But FYI for Big D...check 2126 into this video and see how tight that front rachet strap was...If too loose, that hook can easily fallout as car/rack twist then your in more trouble that a pregnant nun...Good practice is to keep them tight, but also cable tie the hooks in place as well to stop this ever happening....Cheers...keep up the good work...
OH YEP that's it ........ Time Stamp 4:35..... Now I've got to keep watching especially with Fire to Fork onboard.(Look forward to a try of his recipes).....Na I've always loved ❤your vid's 👍...HUGE Thanks folks.
Hi guys, glad you have your boat back with you, just a question looking at the Mode Canopy’s site, load rating with one spare wheel on the back is only 110kg. Looking at your loader and boat, isn’t that over weight? Have a ripper time and catch you on the next one…
Hi. So sorry for such a late reply. We have worked closely with mode and to gain some extra load rating we have added 4 plates on each corner on the roof of the canopy which are the same size as the plates in each corner in the canopy
@justvanningit thanks and that's awesome. Is Mode going to have this as an upgrade option, and what will it bring the dynamic load up, too.. Travel safe 😊
@@justvanningit Hi guys, glad to see your latest with the boat back in the water, what a great spot you had and the little cove all to yourselves for a swim… oh and that calamari looked yum…. Just back to your reply on the canopy, we are looking for a canopy and like the look of the Mode Canopies, so being that you worked closely with Mode on the load increase to carry your boat, I have two questions if you could help us out. 1 - What is the dynamic load increase with the corner plates, and what size and thickness are they? 2- Do you know if Mode / Zone going to offer this as a standard upgrade with their Canopies or should I contact them for this info? Keep enjoying your travels and hope to see you on the road at some stage… 😊
Finally back at the beach! And a beauty of a beach/bush camp. Bobby had the time of his life!
So awesome meeting you guys! Thanks for having us over! Southend was just 👌🏻
Enjoy South Australia 🤙🏻
Sue is such a water baby ❤️ and Deryck loves an app 😂. Fun episode 😊
Setup is looking awesome with the boat back! Great to see you guys enjoying some awesome weather & destinations 🙌
Thanks so much for sharing our little park ❤
Absolutely Claire, it is such a superb spot. Has been our 4th stay, and we will definitely be back!
Keep up the great work Claire. We’ve been quite a few times and it just ticks the boxes for our crew
Guys,’if there’s nothing to winch off, try burying your tyre in the sand, I’ve seen it done plenty of times and works well
Gotta dig a really big hole, then a rope slot Max trax work well

Just wanted to ask if you know the weight of your tinny ? Without motor. Also what length is it?
The weight of the tinny is about 70-80 kgs and is 3.5m
